Chris Simms is back in Tennessee

I doubt Simms is a good insurance policy for Vince, Collins will stay. He's a familiar face, that's all.

 

I don't see Simms being our #2. Pretty sure we're gonna keep KFC as backup even with his big salary.

 

Yeah, I can't really see Simms being our #2 either. He's not really an upgrade over KFC. But god help us if VY goes down and we have to rely on either one of those guys as our starter. Ugh....

 

Yeah, remember the last time that happened? Ugh, who wants to go 13-3 again?

 

STOP right there. Kerry Collins did NOT make us 13-3 in 2008. He made us 0-6 when it was on him. Remember that.

remember when people thought Simms was going to unseat young as our future starter.....or was the patrick ramsey? now neither of them are good enough to beat KFC out for the backup job.

 

Here's how I see it-

There aren't many pro QBs of ANY caliber or skill that can't do what Vince is asked to do.

So people pretending like Vince or Collins going down would be the end of the world... c'mon now.

Even Tavaris Jackson could 'manage' an offense... which is all we ask of a QB.
