We probably would lose out on some players such as Finnegan and CJ when it will be time for them to get a new contract had the Titans paid Haynesworth the way the Redskins did. There are 32 teams in the NFL, and there were reportedly only two teams interested in Haynesworth when he became a free agent. His price tag is the reason for that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if we re-signed Haynesworth the franchise would just fold because we couldn't afford anymore players.

The Colts have been better than us, first task we need to overtake the division. If we can't do that, then there are a lot of talented teams vying for a wildcard.

In the NFC its the Saints, Vikings, somebody has to make it from the west, and the east is competitive. Seems like the Giants are losing people and I really question the talent they are adding, antrel rolle, lol.

I dunno, it really is a toss up. I just feel like getting the wild card birth would be easier in the NFC, but it depends on how much a few teams improve (falcons and packers).

 

I have to admit I agree with everything you are saying, and I too get irritated when I have to see nothing but pessimistic posts all the time, but It is what it is. Fans get mad, we all want to build a glorious franchise that dominates the NFL but its not in our hands, and that's probably a GOOD thing. I usually just don't pay mind to the negative things some fans say, its their opinion, and I have mine. Neither is right, nor wrong haha. As long as people don't say stupid statements like "I'm going to find a new team to support" or "I'm tired of being a fan of a team that never re-signs our best players or sign good free agents, time to move on". I mean everyone can have their outlook, but as long as your a fan either way, who cares what outlook you have. lol.

 

I didn't say nor imply that. I know it's easier to make up a perspective to argue against than to argue against a real perspective, but come on, this is getting ridiculous. Until you can address the point that was actually made, I have nothing else to add.

Number one, this team can take this division back, like they did a couple seasons ago. This is still a talented team.

Number two, the NFC is more competitive then they were a couple years ago. As you said, the NFC East is particularly competitive. Do you remember what division the Skins play in? The Titans have a better chance of taking the division back from the Colts than the Skins have of aspiring to third in their division.
