You know more that I look at it, he really could be a corner.

Someone compared him to Michael Griffin, which I don't see. He's like 2" shorter and 20lbs less. Besides the Titans like them Texas players.

Alot of draft sites actually have him listed as a corner or his 2nd position as a corner. This quote is directly from his bio from Texas Football website "gained valuable experience working at both safety and cornerback as a redshirt in 2007"

I'd rather just draft a corner and not try to convert a safety to one. Safety isn't a big concern right now anyway.

Where do you project Haden, Wilson, Robinson, Thomas to go?

If we want value at our pick, then we should go DE. This year's draft has lots of talent at that position. I like Lindley in the third.

We go DE with the first pick and then maybe Dennis Rogan if he is around later.

20 lbs less? Another research glitch or lack of?

Thomas at the combine was 5'10 1/2 208 lbs.

Griffin is listed at 6'0 202.

Very similar in size and Thomas runs a sub 4.5 40 at that weight. As a CB he might play around 200.

He came to the combine trying to prove that he was big enough and strong enough to be a top safety. He is plenty big enough to be a top CB.

He has the best ball skills of any player in this draft. And he has very good hands.

Im actually perfectly fine with drafting Thomas and moving him to CB. And his build, if he drops to 200 would be around the same as Finny's.....be a nice sign to have to bruising CB on both sides of the field.

If he is there at 16....Id jump on him....or maybe if you still have Mays and Thomas around, drop down to get that extra pick and bank on grabbing one of the two.

Last Mock I just looked at had Haden going to the Giants, with Morgan and Thomas still there. But I have also heard the Giants are high on McClain.....so all three of those guys could be there.

Atleast it is a great draft for the defensive side....a lot of cant miss guys.
