Free agent DE Jason Babin will visit with the Titans on Sunday and Monday.

Solid depth I suppose. Not exactly starter material.

 

Should be a solid/average addition... although, I am really starting to get sick of C level players on our D-line.

 

This. And at worst, he sucks and gets cut. So that would give us Ford, Ball, Hayes, Babin, Bhaktiri (or whatever his name) at DE. Then would can still take a DE in the 1st.

 

I want a CB too. And it sucks to hear that Bodden will be visiting the Texans. And since they just lost out on Robinson I bet they make a strong push for Bodden.

It doesn't look like the CB pool is gonna get any better either. Lito Sheppard maybe? I do remember that NYJ had traded for him from Philly just before last season.

 

It's looking more and more like the CB position will be addressed in the draft. Titans can afford to bring in C level talent because Washburn makes them into even better players no matter the talent level. Ford and Hayes were pretty impressive last season and package them with Jones and whoever else starts (I have a feeling Marks will make a big push) will still be a good DL.

 

I hope we sign babin but thats just because im a speed whore. I bet if we did ink him he would have a pretty productive year i mean laboy had a few good years why cant babin? lets get it done.

 

I agree with you Burner. Coach Washburn is the man. Ford and Hayes will be better and Marks is gonna turn it on too. I'd like to see our DTs and DEs lining up at each other's spot like Al and KVB used to do. We'll have a nice group of guys that make for a great rotation. Jones and Brown will need to step it up and lead the group.

 

I'm a speed whore too. I don't care about his career #s, I just want to know if he's healthy and what he's gonna cost. Our biggest problem last year was getting after the QB and a guy like this (if hungry enough) can really do some damage and get after the QB.
