yeah, but the guy had 1.5 sacks last year, and played end in the 3-4. he doesn't even resemble what we look for in a DE. hopefully he's expected to make a shift to DT.

Jeff Fisher is calling the shots on this team not Reinfeldt. Fisher won a power struggle to get control. So lets talk about the right person.

No matter how much anyone defends the Fisher/Reinfeldt approach to free agency the one thing that can't be denied is that its not working. No playoff wins in 6 years speaks for itself. Now the Titans are in a situation where they are rebuilding on defense. There are several holes to fill, no impact players and no leadership.

doing nothing in free agency only works if you draft well, which we don't.

 

Am I an idiot for thinking we had a superbowl roster in 2008? If we escape that Ravens playoff game, I don't think we would have had a problem with pittsburgh again and unlike pittsburgh, we wouldnt have needed last minute heroics to beat the Cardinals in the Superbowl. That roster/coaching staff was good enough to contain the cardinals and beat them handily.

I've been more critical of Fisher than many on this board and I have called for his head more than once, but Fisher/Reinfeldt didn't lose that game for us. We had a winning game plan. We put up plenty of offense w/ an ancient ultra conservative QB and an excellent defense that shut teams down for the most part. Fisher wasn't the one out there turning the ball over, not calling play clock penalties, and he wasn't the one who intentionally injured chris johnson. That's why I think your statement is intellectually dishonest and your hate is misplaced.
