Comebacks: Young vs. Elway vs. Brady vs. Montana vs. Marino

Im conVINCEd. VY will be the next black QB to win the superbowl. I dont know why you people are fans of this team when you hate any QB we have. Do you really want Kerry Collins to play? Even tho once upon a time, we were 13-3. We were also 0-6.

Either you are with us or against us. VY is the franchise.

 

KC has major consistency issues too but all the hate is kinda weird. Did I make fun of him at times? Yea......but I do that even too the really consistent QBs like Melon and Ben Rothe28937shfsfasfburgererzzz or whatever the hell his name is.

KFC just can't win 2 years in a row......its been his curse his entire career.

Still would be the best backup QB in the league by far.....shame he costs too much.

Not all QBs can enter this league with guns blazing. VY will (hopefully) be fine.

Wow, I am happy to hear Vince being talked about among some the best QB's of the NFL. This is why I don't like the whole "stats making an argument" technique though. They justify the argument, but also create an uproar of opinions (the non constructive ones). It probably upsets some people to even read Vince Young and John Elway's names in the same thread. You can compare Vince to anyone really, but until he wins playoff games he's just a guy with great potential. I love Vince, but seriously anyone getting into it over this is silly. I like our chances with Vince, but I'd give him up in a second for any of those other names.

 

The statisical pool is too shallow to include Vince in that group. Just compare the number of games played. It's like saying a rookie baseball player who plays one game with four hits to batt a 1000 is the best hitter of all time.

Vince can be properly judged when his career is over and his statistics are final. To do this properly, at this stage in Vince's career, you would have to compare the others at the same number of games played. To me, that would be a more interesting comparison and post.

Comparing 30 games to 200 games is hardly a valid comparison.

 

Nate Washington had a drop in that Colts game that was a guaranteed TD, which would have given us the lead in the second quarter. Granted, it was the first half, but Vince put a perfect ball on him and he couldn't hang on. Something like that changes the momentum of games, and multiple times this year our receivers, primarily Nate Washington, blew it for him. Nate personally left about 250 yards and 3-4 TD's on the field by getting behind the defense and dropping balls that hit him right in the hands.

 

I want to take time to bow down and worship the legend of Vince Young. Vince Young embodies the QB role of this franchise. Blanda > Moon > McNair > Young.

VY = Tennessee Titans. He will bring home the superbowl. I want winners on my football team.
