Titans fire Byner, hire Pola

i dont have a problem with the switch. its not really gunna affect are team, plus who are we to know how good of a coach byner was. i mean, CJ has a lot to learn, hes only in his second year. i didnt really see anything last year that made me say "wow im glad ernest byner is working with CJ". CJ is just fast as ffuuuu. i did see him lacking vision at times, maybe this other dude is better

Read in the Tennessean Byner told reporters to ask Jeff why he is being fired, from reading the article he is not a happy man as I would not be either. I would post the link but I don't think were suppose to do that copyright laws and such.

Byner should go work for Del Rio then and stick it to Fisher's run defense the next time we play the Jags :hmm:

Ha! That would be ugly but as a titan fan I would like for us to have some serious playoff action and a trip back to SB.

This is a running back coach we're talking about getting canned, not the offensive coordinator. RB coaches do nothing a payer couldn't do in practice anyways. They run drills and lead the running backs meetings. I don't think Byner had any great insight C.J. was eating up, he'd just been around the block.

But like others are saying; why is this being addressed? We had no issues with the RB position at all. We should be interviewing defensive minded coaches and spending time there. Not calling old friends to come steal jobs. But we know Fisher works backwards.

Pola better be freakin' magical and shoot extra RB yardage out of his *** if yer' gonna fire a 2k RB year RB coach.
