PLEASE stop with this nonsense. The last few years have proven that any of these conferences can hold their own vs the SEC.
And Texas just showed that they could beat the best SEC team even with their backup QB.

The big 10 alone in an off year showed that they can beat up the SEC. Teams like Georgia, Auburn, etc are complete garbage lately and are always wrongly ranked top 15 every season when everyone knows they're not top 25 material.

And why are they ranked? Because they're in the SEC. Yet when they prove they suck vs out of conference teams, other better SEC teams somehow get credit when they barely beat them.

I guess it doesn't have to make sense. Although in no other sport, or division will you find that silly "they beat up on each other" flawed logic.

Could you please explain how Texas just proved that they could beat the best SEC team without their QB? I really thought I remembered something about Alabama winning that game...

They are ranked because the AP voters vote the SEC teams into the preseason top 15 then they all go into conference play 4-0 because all the SEC teams load up on cupcakes from the Sunbelt and 1-AA. Each SEC team only has to win 2-3 SEC games against teams like Vandy, Kentucky, Miss State, Auburn then they are deemed "Bowl Teams"

Also, have you seen the officiating in the SEC? The word "biased" doesn't do it any justice.

They almost won while the kid didn't even throw the ball.

Everyone that saw that game knows how close some 19 year old kid came to beating the "national champions".

Which is why Alabama fans shut up quick. They werent even proud of the win for that reason alone. As it should be.

They got to play Texas without ANY qb play for an entire half outside of one drive. When Texas did finally throw the ball, it was in the 2nd half and they were moving easy until one final turnover where the kid didn't read the blitz.

Everyone in the nation knew that night, that Alabama would have lost that game- and therefore basically did lose that game.

Everyone in the nation didnt know that Alabama would have lost at all. ALabama did win by 16 points, if you didnt notice, and Texas back up QB was only 16-40, meaning he struggled all game. Yes, he had a couple nice drives that got Texas back into the game, but Alabama just turned it right back up at the point and put the game away. I am not sure that we watched the same game.

And saying a team that got beat by 16 points, proved they can beat the SECs top team with their back up QB, makes absolutely no sense. They didnt prove that at all, and you know this.
