Because we didnt make the playoffs..and he isnt a QB (I think voters are just extremely biased toward QBs in regard to this award). Unless someone has a season thats just unheard of..those with great stats that make the playoffs will always get the nod. Plus CJ was playing when we started 0-6..the record didnt turn around till he was assisted by VY. It wasnt done single handedly.

Im NOT saying I agree with the voters assesment..but these are just some things they probably factored in

I think Fisher is implying that if he stays in physical top shape, he'll get his chance at another 2k season.

I'd love to see that happen with CJ and VY getting us deep in the playoffs!

Once this guy moves into the 20 TD's neighborhood, people will respect him and his highlights. There's just some people out there in denial that he's the best. But a 20 minute highlight reel accompanied by 20 TD's and 2000 rushing yards will get him the MVP next year.

..and a playoff spot. I strongly believe that this is and always will be a HUGE factor in voters decisions for MVP. With those stats and for example a 7-9 season..he will probably still end up with OPTY instead of MVP

Very accurate award, as is the MVP. Take Chris Johnson off the Titans, and we probably miss out on about 2 wins.

Take Drew Brees or Peyton Manning off their respective teams, and they could realistically be 5-11 teams. In that sense, those 2 are much more *valuable* to their team.

That is even more proof this is a QB league. If you have a top tier QB, you will be competitive regardless of the rest of your ENTIRE roster. No other single position has that much direct emphasis on the W/L column.

However, it is a joke he didn't get a single vote in the MVP race. Hopefully that will inspire him to break Dickerson's record next season.

    No one. According to Kuharsky...

    Chris Johnson 38.5 votes
    Drew Brees 9 votes
    Peyton Manning 1.5 votes
    Philip Rivers 1 vote
