Interesting tidbit from Jim Wyatt about a loss vs win against the Seahawks...

    Per Jim Wyatt in the Tennessean:

    "5. IT MIGHT BE BETTER TO LOSE
    I know, no one wants to hear this. But think about the future and consider this: if the Titans lose against the Seahawks, they'll play at Buffalo and at home vs. Cleveland as part of the NFL's scheduling process in 2010. If the Titans win, they'll end up playing either at the Jets or Dolphins, and at home vs. either the Ravens or Steelers. That’s a big difference, not counting the fact they'd get a heck of a lot better draft pick at 7-9."

    I cannot wish them to lose...but it is interesting to consider the difference in strength of schedule between those two scenarios.

    Yeah as bad as it sounds, it actually makes more sense to lose this game. I'd much rather face Buffalo and Cleveland than I would Ratbirds or Stealers. Plus the better draft spot.

    Heck, I can wish us to lose. Especially if CJ still gets his 2000. Higher pick and easier schedule next year, sounds like a no-brainer to me.

    CJ runs for 136 yards and 2 TD's, but our defense can't stop anyone as normal and we lose on a game winning FG for Seahawks. I WOULDN'T be upset if this happens.

    It's gong to be really hard for CJ to break Dickerson's record and us lose at the same time.

    I wouldn't be sad if we lost though.

    I'd rather CJ get the record...all of them.

    Jets/Ravens/Phins/Steelers could be horrible next year. You never know.

    we would be some punks to lose so we didnt have to face a good team next season.

    fix this stupid defense and bring on The Steelers.

    The Jags went out there and lost 41-0. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we lose. It's the NFL and we're an average team.
