Am I the only one that does not understand why Kenny Britt lost his starting job? He only played as what appeared to me as the 3. He has had a great season. I heard fisher say that gage would get his job back after the inj. (he says players never lose jobs to inj.....that is debatable at best)

Why is nate washington a starter, if anyone should have to earn the job back it is Sir drops alot. I dont think it sends the right message. I would like to see more of hawkins and cook as well.

Nate has horrible hands and I bet it is the way he tries to catch balls.

But Britt is benched because of the injury rule, which is all on Fisher.

Britt will be the starting Flanker next season. I'm not all too worried. Fish usually puts the talent on the field, it may just take longer than it should at times. I would like to see Cook play more though, he's a physical monster although I doubt Fish is going to break up the VY-Scaife connection.

Fisher needs to stop doing this. I bet Cook was loads better then Crumpler.

    Well...

Washington drops the ball for different reasons...he takes his eyes off the ball but he tries to catch it with his hands. Britt may be getting sent the message he needs to work on always catching the ball with his HANDS and not trying to trap the ball to his body.

I think the Titans would look to have one speed guy (Wash) and one possession guy out there together. Since Gage is more reliable, they may want him to be higher on the depth chart than Britt. I think will be there best WR next year.

As for Cook, he's a worse blocker than Crumpler by a LOT. Even Scaife is not a good blocker. Crumpler's blocking is what keeps him on the field over Cook and Stevens. If Scaife leaves, Cook may slide into his role, but if he can't block, he's gonna have a limited role as CJ is an MVP candidate and our bread and butter!

Some times fisher when it comes to veterans, reminds me of a college coach wanting to play the senoirs. Britt is by far our best wr. Poor play and drops are what should get players benched. Accountability, to players and coaches. Players are not entitled to a job, they should have to earn it.......britt to me earned it............. my biggest complaint with fisher is that I dont feel like he plays the best 11 or activates the best 45.

As long as we have a 2,000 yard back, there will be a spot for guys like Crumpler.

    Now onto Britt:

Even though Washington is on record to have 6 drops, it still seems like Britt is just as likely to drop a ball if not more likely. He's a rookie WR, the 2nd toughest position to play as a rookie. And he's too comparable to Gage to have on the field at the same time. Fisher likes the deep threat Washington's slow speed creates.

I don't like how it is, but I call what I see.

I love Kenny Britt, I would think this would be the time to get him experience and I feel he has the potiential to have a few breakout years and be a top WR.

Yeah...has to be the main reason he is not in the field....with Scaife and Crumpler in there they have to decent blocking TEs.

However, I am a big fan of Cook and think he is a weapon in the making, provided they find a way to scheme him in.
