That's how I feel about it. Haven't even been looking at his stats. I believe my eyes, and my eyes are saying progress. And yes, destroy Seattle.

Throw up all the stats you want.. we needed VY to AT LEAST play a decent game for us to win. 3 VY turnovers lost us that game.

He choked when it counted, plain and simple.

But then again, the Titans ALWAYS choke...no suprise there.

    Lets check your math.
VY now has a 25-14 record. He had 18 wins before this season then add 7 from this year. 25. I assume you're thinking VY won 10 games in 2007 but Collins won the game at Houston, the same game the Titans put up their highest point output of the year(38). As for the 14 losses, I'm befuddled as to why the stat spinners act like the SD playoff loss never happened. Is that not the most meaningful game he's ever played?

Lest we forget, Kyle Orton, 29-19 career record. Why does Young have so many fanboys and Orton does not? Where's all the Orton jerseys? Oh... he didn't do well in a college football game. His Bears and Broncos teams are mirrors of the Titans. This season, Orton started off 6-2 and has ended 2-5. You mean it's possible a team can have 2 different half's of a season without a QB switch? Unheard of!

Kyle Orton has had a winning record in every season. Impressive? I'd say no, it got him traded.

As for your "powerhouse" teams Young has beat... The Saints finished that season 7-9, The Eagles were 10-6 that season but a quick glance at the box score shows a 99 yard Pacman Jones Return TD and a Bulluck TD. VY's stats.. 8 for 22, 101 yards, 1TD. Travis Henry? 143 yards rushing. 2006 Giants finished 8-8 and the Cards played without their 2 time MVP QB.

I bet we can all agree that Young was at his worst during the Chargers playoff game in '07 and at his best going into the Chargers game of last week.
VY vs SD in '07 with a defense that played tremendous and shut out the Chargers in the 1st half, 16-29 for 138 yards, 1 INT.
    '09 vs Chargers... 8-21 for 89 yards, 2 INT's.

As far as comparing VY with Tony Romo.... Romo has a better record, 105 TD passes, 54 INT's, VOTED to 2 Pro Bowls, UNDRAFTED, and is not a 3rd overall pick still being slobbered on for an NCAA game.

Once again, in 9 games against the TOP 5 teams of the AFC since 2006 (SD, Balt, Indy and N.E) Young has won 1 game. 20-17 over Indy in 2006.

Seriously? You think VY lost that game for us? He definitely played a big role in it, I won't deny that, but even if he threw for 400 and 3 TDs we still would've lost given how pathetic the defense played.

Bottom line is a Jeff Fisher coached team isn't built to win with any kind of regularity when the defense allows 40+.

But I thought Collins was "losing" games because he couldn't sustain drives thus not giving the defense rest. Are we not using that one anymore?
aLSO, NO TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL IS BUILT TO WIN when the defense gives up 40+.

Dude, you don't even make any sense... ever. This was ONE bad game! Yes, Kerry was hurting the defense by not being able to sustain drives. He proved it week after week. And yeah, Vince's inability to sustain drives on Christmas didn't help the defense at all. The difference is, again, this was ONE game you're clinging onto... not a bunch of back to back bad games.

Listen man, Those wins over St. Louis, Houston, Jax, SF, Arizona, Buffalo and Miami is what you're clinging to. You may go into games like Indy and SD thinking we have a shot to win with VY but it doesn't happen. Is a QB like Kyle Orton not capable of beating average teams but losing all the big games? Young is the only QB in the history of the NFL that has leagues of Fan Boys and can't win a game against the elite while having more INTs than TDs in his career!!!

Why do losses to the two best teams in the conference hold so much more value in your mind than the other 7 wins? Sure Buffalo and St. Louis were in there but you act like we played a schedule full of complete scrub opponents. Arizona is 10-5 right now, a very good team. And Miami, Jacksonville, San Francisco, and Houston certainly don't suck. :ha:

Typical cop-out move, pointing out the small bit of negativity.

Over the large amount of positive.

The facts speak for themselves and Vince has proven he is a winner. Plain and Simple. To judge on "style" points in all honesty is ignorant. I would much rather have a sometimes ungraceful winner at Quarterback, no matter the situation. Period.
