What coach was penalized?

Maybe the zebra thought Cecil was spitting the gum at him??

I can't remember ever hearing of a coach getting a flag for yelling at a ref.
Hell, his job to yell if he disagrees with a call(isn't it?).:disbelief

 

I remember years back when a ref ran into tim couch i think, he was standing outside the players box, by the sideline, and he got flagged for a Personal Foul, interference because he should have been standing further away from the field, but i never saw a def coord get flagged yellin , theres a first for everything !

 

Def Cecil ... he is lucky he did not get ejected. Needs to bite his tongue ... that play showed no control or class by a coach. Fisher should have hit him with the clip board.

 

I have got to say it, but the ref with the glasses did appear to be biased. It just felt that way to me. I don't normally care about the officials, but this time the look of that guy just bothered me. I felt like something was amiss. I've only felt this one other time, and that was when the Rockets lost to Dallas in 6 games. There was something foul going on it that series too.

 

I guess Cecil figured his crappy defense wasn't giving up enough yards so he'd give up a few more.

 

Cecil has been an embarrassment to the organization. Not only has his "coaching" drug the defense from top 10 to the worst in the NFL, but his actions have been an embarrassment. I frequently find myself wondering how the heck this guy got this job? He is pitiful. no way around it. His defense is one of the worst in the NFL. Good or great coaches dont get handed a top 10 defense and turn it into the worst in the league. Yes there is going to be some adjustments and some miscues,etc but not THAT great to where your people cant tackle or cover an average wide receiver. its pretty embarrassing.
