Titans rams superbowl

They showed it on NFL Network's Greatest 4th Quarters before we played the Rams...still cant believe that pass to Issac Bruce :(

The only back today that reminds me of Eddie is Brandon Jacobs...but Eddie was much much quicker and more punishing. You cant duplicate him...same with Steve.

 

does anyone else think that the superbowl with the rams was sort of a microcasm for what the next 10 years woud be like?

 

I think the Titans had a great game plan. It was the let them catch the ball short and beat the bejesus out of them and then run the ball and beat the bejesus out of them. If it weren't for the one big play, we would have won. I was proud of the team coming back the way they did and I wasn't cursing at the TV at the end of the game. That was a great Rams team.

 

it would be awesome if we had been able to get Eddie and CJ playing for us at once.

 

I never realized how inaccurate McNair was that game? some of his passes were god awful...

And did anyone else notice, on the last drive, we accepted the false start penalty, making it 1st and 5, instead of taking the yardage from the play which would of made it 2nd and 3. Could of made the difference...

 

Isn't a facemask penalty an automatic 15 yards? It seemed like they only gave the titans 5 yards. Theres alot of points in that game that could have made the difference. Fish went the ultra conservative route in the first half and honestly...he was conservative in the 2nd half, I just dont think the rams were thinkin eddie was gonna run the ball down by that much. Fisher tried to win a SB on the leg of Del Greco. I guess hindsight is 20/20 but you won't win a SB by kicking field goals. (Unless you are the patriots and you win your superbowls by 3 points each.)

 

I believe that, until rather recently, there were two different facemask penalties. One for incidental contact- 5 yards, and the 15 yard personal foul penalty.

 

I get a little sick every time I hear the reference "Greatest Show On Turf"

Now they are the greatest joke on turf
