Many thoughts...

I. First, about Irvin and Deion,

A. If only we were all lucky enough to relegated to working for the NFL network.

B. Don't cast stones at men who snort cocaine with topless dancers unless you've actually had a chance to turn down opportunities like that. (Even then don't knock it til you've tried it).

II. About Cutler

Cutler started off great but now doesn't look so great. Young looked awfully raw three years ago and is looking a lot more polished now. Could there be a correlation?

Hello?!!! His name is Mike Hemmendinger.

III. About VY

Yeah, he's looking better but he has still has a ways to go. In the meantime, he wins games. What's wrong with that?

If we all live long enough and Vince does well enough, it'll be kind of fun to come in here someday and read all the hating posts by the haters after he's a Super Bowl MVP. 'Cause Lord knows there will always be some of you who will believe the Titans could've done better with somebody else.

 

Bottom line is Vince has shown he can lead this team. I was off his wagon when he wouldn't go back into the game and all the immaturity he showed, but he has obviously changed for the better.

One thing is for sure...he was a much better choice than any of the other QB's in that draft. Leinhart hardly sees the field and Cutler, well, is HORRIBLE. I know there are alot of Cutler Groupies out there, but he has proven that talent alone doesn't make you a good QB. He is a punk and always has been since high school.

 

Why are you guys saying he can't be a pocket qb. I think that's basically how he's playing. Just because he takes off and runs at times doesn't change that. Macnair and mcnabb are/were pocket passers but add a run threat which makes them more dangerous .imo vince is a pocket passer with an ability to run. Mike vick is a scrambling qb like pat white. Guys who are used in gimmicky formations. Which is why we don't use the wildcat. Thank god. So while you may not think he is. Very good at it, he is indeed a pocket passer

I give Vince Young props for coming back after his emotional breakdown. It is about time this stud plays to his true ability.

 

Vince has done everything that any of us could have asked him to do. He's matured personally, he's learned how to operate the offense effectively, he's reading Defenses really well, he's more accurate, he has much better touch, is running smart and slidling when need be, also throws the ball away when he needs to.

Overall, the kid is making all the right moves. I just hope it isn't too little too late for us this season.
