What Needs To Happen (Playoff Scenario Week 16/17)

There is absolutely no point in giving up on the season. The offseason is long enough and getting into the offseason mindset right now is just plain stupid(unless you actually enjoy the offseason more than the regular season). We are alive with 2 games to go, and have a VERY good chance at being alive in week 17.... What good could possibly come from giving up???

.... As for the playoff scenarios, we don't necessarily want Baltimore to lose next week.

Let's say everything else goes our way and...

1) Pitt wins...then in week 17 we need 2 of these 3 scenarios to take place: Oak over Bal, Mia over Pitt, KC over Den

2)Baltimore wins....then in week 17 all we need is KC over Denver.

Also, Miami tying us at 9-7 can help if the Jets win out...but will hurt us if Denver ends up at 9-7

Oh yeah! The WORLD CHAMPION Steelers, huh? Because they're hard to beat this year! Just ask the BEARS, RAIDERS, BROWNS, and CHIEFS.

Defense choked vs Houston after being up 21-7? Or did our coach do the SAME thing he does EVERY time we get up big on Houston and play our defense to give up long drives and eventually be in a ball game? Or when we stopped trying to score points. Team's fault I guess, right?

Throw Vince in against the Pats or Colts and take a chance on killing his confidence? The Colts AND Pats defense was nothing short of Terrible at the time. Are you serious? Peyton Manning and Tom Brady don't play defense.

Vince has proved he can't get it done vs the Colts? Really? That's funny because he beat the Colts his rookie season. Splitting the season. He also beat them AGAIN the next season.

So Vince beats the Colts almost 50% of the time, doesn't he? He only got 1 shot at them this year, in their house, and we beat ourselves... Sooooo...

I think a lot of what we need to happen can happen believe it or not. The one thing I really don't see happening is us beating San Diego, unless they rest their starters since I don't think their playing for anything but I don't think they would do that unless it was the last week of the season.

We have a shot. Don't rain on the parade if your laying down, the rest of us aren't.

 

As long as the Steelers and Broncos losr out then we're in. NE will probably take care of Jax for us and Indy will probably keep the streak going and take care of the Jets.

Denver lost to Oakland today so I can definitely see them falling to the Chiefs plus those 2 usually play each other tough anyway. Ravens already beat Pittsburgh once and are playing pretty good right now so they can beat em again. Miami should give em a good game too and will hopefully help us out and beat them.

The Jets, Broncos all lost today like we needed them to and it feels like things are shaking out our way already. And maybe now that San Diego has won the West they'll ease up on us a little.

 

First thing. SD has been saving LT all season. So, given the chance, they will save him again. Problem is sprowles is just as explosive. So it doesn't matter much.

Second thing. The way I'm looking at it is that all we need is for Baltimore or Denver to lose next week to have a chance on the Final sunday. If you look at who they are playing, it's likely that one of the two will lose.

If that happens, and I see it as likely. We've got a shot. And that's all I could have asked for. Because then it comes down to two games. And that's a whole lot better than it could have been.

We no chance to make the playoffs. The fact that the steelers play the ravens so one of those teams is going to win. Our loss to the jets. Our poor conference record. No way..
