I feel dirty having actually cheered for Manning. Like I need to have my soul cleansed now. I'm worried how I'll feel next week pulling for Belichick and Brady - I don't want to grow horns right before Christmas. :evil:

 

I turned the game on half way through the 3rd qtr with Jags up 24-21 and then noticed the Colts were playing everyone and couldn't believe it. Seems like it was a good game. I was pulling for the Colts just to help the Titans out. I hope Colts keep playing each week and go 16-0 and Saints go 16-0... then if Titans don't get in playoffs I can route for a 18-0 vs 18-0 Super Bowl, which by the way is IN Miami lol. What better place to shut Mercury Morris up than to have a team go 19-0 in the place they did it in '72.

 

It helped Miami a lot too. Noew there are only three 7-6 teams. Miami holds the tie breaker with the Jets because of a sweep. Only Baltimore and New England hold the fate. A Baltimore loss and miami is wildcard. A new England loss and Miami is leading the division because of a tie breaker with new england. Makes this Sundays game even bigger. Its going to be a playoff atmosphere with two gritty teams. I can't Wait!

 

Thank you Colts. I was really worried the Jags would win that game and keep us down. Looks like their the same Jags, just got all their wins earlier this year. Now they'll keep slipping back to Texan level.

 

There's the NFL story line of the decade. I would guarantee a colt's win.

 

This might have been the first Colts game ever that I willfully was cheering for them to win.

I think I rather cheer for the jags to lose than the colts to win.

 

Just heard on the Radio even if the Titans win out, they have a 6% shot making the playoffs. that as good as done, imo.

 

and what were the chances in 2006 when everything fell our way in week 17?
I'm sure the chances weren't much better if any...yet we still would have made it to the postseason had we not thrown ourselves into a hole by losing to the Pats...
after that, I'm not going to say anything is "as good as done" when it comes to the playoffs.

 

I haven't taken a probability course but I'd be interested in figuring how they came to that conclusion.

In any event, it's not the Titans winning out that changes our percentage that much, it's what happens with other teams. I'm sure if the Bears beat the ravens next weekend and NE beats the Jags, I'm sure you'll see that percentage go to something like 50-60%
