Yeah, Fuller should have fallen down intentionally after the pick...NOT

They had plenty of times to stop us but didnt. Tough break. What were we supposed to do? Take a knee every down from the 3rd quarter on?

I don't feel bad for our debacle in New England, so St. Louis should be upset about theirs on Sunday. I guess up in the 3rd, we could have called the same play over and over to let them have some type of advantage going into 3rd downs.

Gotta love how a team wants you to stop trying to score- yet they continue trying to score. If you want to give up, and basically sit on the game because of how bad you are, maybe you should just take a knee every down.

That's funny. They should be complaining about their own sad excuse for a team right now, not the Titans and Jeff Fisher. As others have already said, if you can't stop the opposing team that's your problem. This isn't pop warner.

Anyway, so unless I missed something when looking over our records this was the franchise's biggest margin of victory since they've been in Tennessee. :)

    Kinda nice, isn't it?

Teams who don't want the score run up on them shouldn't run fake punts. That makes it appear like you wanna play a little more football.

Seriously, there is no such thing as running up the score in pro ball. If you don't want the score run up on you, play better. This isn't Pop Warner.

I agree that I was not mad at the Pats but I think the situation was different. I am a diehard Titans fan but the Pats had mercy on us. We were so horrible that day that the score should have been worse. Kerry was playing for three quarters as the back up not because we were winning but because Vince was hurt. The Pats sat the starters pretty much after the first drive of the 3rd quarter.
Now the Pats have been known to run up the score but didn't in that game. I was watching yesterday and couldn't believe that Finnegan didn't take in knee in the endzone with seconds left after his INT. The Pats didn't do anything like that.

i don't see how you're supposed to tell a DB who might get the ball five times a year to take a knee or to stop running, especially in finnegan's situation. the rams threw the ball into the endzone trying to score, why shouldn't he try to run it back?

was i yelling for him to go down? absolutely, because i didn't want him to get hurt, not because i didn't want him to score.

I am not criticizing Finnegan and I can't say that he personally did anything wrong. Just pointing out that when a team tries to continue to put points on the board when the game is out of reach most people would consider that "running up the score." Notable exceptions would be if a player or team is trying to break a record. Then they usually bring that person out as soon the record is made.

Most players in the NFL would have taken a knee. Most players on the Titans team would have taken knee in Finnegan's case. The Titans have always fell down and not tried to score. I don't see an issue with Fuller's TD.

I remember a few years ago in the Monday night game when Keith got 3 INT's. On the last one when the game wasn't in question he slid down. I am sure that 99% of DBs in the NFL would have taken a knee.

It is the same in the NBA. When a team has wrapped up the game they dribble the ball into the time runs out they don't continue to score.

I love the Titans but trying to score from the endzone with seconds left in the game is running up the score and a little unsportsmanslike. Maybe if he was at the 50 yard line but from the endzone!
