In his college days he never had these injuries. In those days he had a running regimin that was like that of a running back or WR. Apparently, his pro conditioning program doesn't include that or there isn't time to have that much running in his standard in-season weekly program. Fish and Vince referred to his lack of stretching and running this week while rehabing the knee as likely contributors to the mild hammy pull. My guess is its likely they are right regarding this particular injury. If so, then the trainers will need to take that into account this week when they settle on his rehab work.

Give it a break man. He's got a 91 rating, 7 TD, 1 rushing TD, 2 INT and 1 FUM as a starter this year. 62% completion. 2 240+ yard games. What is wrong with the way he's throwing the ball? He was throwing it very well today before he got hurt.

You are right, it's like he doesn't watch the games and come in these forums and start dissing VY just to see who bites. Anybody who is watching the games can tell the he has improve a lot and is becoming the QB we were hoping.

All qb's are injury prone. Just look around the league. The injuries are going to happen. Vince has been relatively stable compared to all the other qb's. I think he's doing fine. What you don't want is an Albert Haynesworth situation. In one play, out the next, in the next, out the next. That is frustrating. But missing a game here and there as a qb is no big deal.

That seems very probable. I hope he has time to work on that as well.

Next year should be a good year for us depending on who stays, etc.

I just hooooope Fish lets Kenny get his experience in.

Dude you are so right. I have tell people all the time the Chris Johnson is only good because of his eye sight. Just take away one or two of his eyes and he will be a below average running back. No way this guy is worth any money.

I also feel the same about Randy Moss, that guy is ONLY good because of his crazy speed and hands. Take away his left arm and he would be below average.

I also hate how people think that Tom Brady is a good QB. Trust me if you locked both his legs so he couldn't bend his knees that guy would BLOW. I just don't see why people think he is good.

The stretching/conditioning issue needs to be addressed in the offseason. There is absolutely no excuse for a young, elite athlete to be pulling leg muscles when he's running. The training staff needs to show Vince how to properly stretch before games and he should spend his offseason getting those quads/hammies into peak shape. He can't keep limping off the field after runs. Regardless of whether he misses games due to injury, it's not a good thing for the team when he's constantly pulling up lame.

I don't think too much should be looked into this injury. They said after the game that if he needed to come back in he could have, but we were up big on a 1-11 team and didn't really need him in there when he had been questionable all week from another injury. I don't think we need to look too much into it until he misses a big game due to injury.

Lots of bananas and a leg-focused yoga program would probably do wonders for him.

Vince is cautious, not injury prone.
