Vince was questionable all week. I think it popped up last week, and it was simply re-aggravated today. Doesn't make him injury prone. It's a problem that won't go away without sitting out for a few weeks, and that's obviously something he's petrified of taking a chance doing.

Is this the last potentially legitimate critique haters have? We've gone through the list:

    1.) he can't throw
    2.) he can't throw consistently
3.) he can't make clutch throws
4.) he can't finish in the red zone
5.) he can't produce a come from behind win
    6.) he can't win consistenly

    ...
    7.) he's injury prone.

    I have one response

What sucks is that Mac9 was constantly injured, but his injuries were upperbody where he could fight through. Vy's injuries come to his legs which are killer. I just think he needs to get some better stretching because that's all they did in the locker room. He didn't play because we were up and we know these next 3 weeks are huge.

I hated Vince more than anyone, but he's come back and been very efficient passing the ball WITHOUT running. He only runs when he needs to now, and looks great in the pocket.

However, he does scare me by limping after every play. Many times after he did something stupid (see last week's delayed reaction, and the same on the pick that he had last season vs Jax).

But anyone still dissing his passing just isn't watching the games. He's been passing better than KC...and he's not launching the ball out of bounds every 3rd down.

The lack of practice likely helped the knee get better but hurt his over-all conditioning. The hurt knee set up the hamstring strain and it often happens in the other direction as well. My guess is he backed down quick enough to prevent a serious tear and will play with it tapped up next week.

Have things really degenerated to the point where 90% of the people on this board can't objectively discuss Vince's injury history without resorting to Vince bashing/defending?

I am not bashing/hating/even criticizing Vince when I bring up this topic of discussion.

Whether or not he has leg muscles that are prone to injury has nothing to do with whether or not he can pass, is dumb, is the 2nd coming of Jesus, etc. Leave that stuff out of this, please.

I want to talk about why he gets hurt so much, without even getting touched. It worries me a lot.

Loqitar10 does make a good point.

the knee injury last week probably had something to do with the pull this week. the muscle tries to compensate for the knee being weaker than it usually is and because of the extra stress it becomes strained/pulled.
