Playoffs are still possible.

Anything can happen and Im not giving up on our playoff chances just yet.

The only thing thats a lock right now is that either the Chargers or Broncos will occupy the 1st wild card spot.

After "The Drive" last week, I have newfound hope that's a little harder to kill than before. And I'll keep alive if they keep winning.

What sucks more than anything is, as of now, we need the Colts to go 15-0. :grrr: Just think. If dependable Rob makes those 2 FG's against the Steelers and Mouton fielded those damn returns, we start 2-4, and depending on the tiebreaker with Jacksonville? We're either in the playoffs, or a half game out.

Of course, at 2-4, Vince probably doesn't start and we don't string off 5 straight. But you can't help but assume what if.

You know Fish....if we were 2-4 BA probably wouldn't of stepped in yet and it would be business as usual.

Our D and secondary would prolly be rested up after the bye But I reallllly think we would of had more 3 and outs in the 5 games b4 indy if we had KC. I respect his experience but not his 3rd down ability.

 

I ruled out playoffs after starting 0-4, I figured any wins we got after that would just make the season suck less.

 

2-4 with a 59-0 loss going into the bye isn't much better than 0-6 with a 59-0 loss. Who wouldn't have been just as bitter just because we'd won 2 games?

Bud Adams could have easily still stepped in. He has more at stake on Vince than anyone else because he ultimately has to decide if he returns next year or not. The chance of Vince still starting that Jacksonville game is better than you're making it out to be.

 

Well, the Ravens lost tonight. That helped a lot. We may still have a shot at the playoffs

 

You make a good point....I'd only hope Bud would of intervened by then. Shame we went 0-6 instead............could of been more salvageable then our season currently is. On the flipside I'm hoping that stubborn Fishy bastage realizes how awesome Kenny is and that he has a #1 in the making with a bit of further coaching.

All the teams that we needed to lose are losing but I still have very little hope we can get in at 9-7 especially with all the AFC loses we have. We still have to play the Chargers so we may not end the season with 9 wins? Are we still gonna have people saying we can get in with 8 wins if we lose another game?

 

If nothing else at least we can have some hope here at the end and aren't the Rams, Browns, etc...!
