Dont be shocked to Britt begin to replace Nate. The production difference is undeniable

Homeboy, the title of the thread is in reference to Nate Washington and his continued propensity to drop perfectly thrown deep passes that hit him in the hands, time and time again. He is starting to become an unrelaible target for the deep passes, and there is no excuse for those types of drops.

The disappointment in the Teams performance and lack of their ability to overcome adversities is addressed in another thread, but this one is about Nate Washingtons droppsies.

They all said hands were going to be an issue with him. I just had hoped it wouldnt have been so noticable.

    If that doesn't fix itself...

Reminds me of the guy in The Replacements that's fast but cant catch the ball so Keanu Reeves gets some of that black glue or whatever and puts it on his hands to help him hold on.

Exact ally we are not built to recover from mistakes like this we are a run first team not a high power team. Nate has been dropping ball all year My brother who is a Steeler fan told me we would regret that signing,He said Nate is good for 1-2 drops per game .

    Fine.

He's on pace to have more receiving touchdowns than any Titan in a single season since Drew Bennett in 2004. Yea he dropped one today but it happens. Someone said "Good teams don't let that happen" good teams have play makers let them down all the time. But as I said it was only 1 play and while it hurt our chances to win today it didn't have to be as big a deal as were making it out to be if this team could score inside the 5.

He also dropped a big one in the Ariz game. Its not a one time "freak" occurance.

He has butter fingers when he really needs to have sticky fingers.

He gets buttery in the hand when he has a chance for a big gain and it seems to consistantly happen.

Britt on one side, Gage on the other, Nate in the slot. Throw the deep balls to Britt. If Nate can't catch deep ones, toss him 7-12 yarders and let him use his speed that way. Britt has shown that he has what it takes to be our go to WR and Gage is a great possession guy that would complement Britt's play nicely.
