For everyone who ever questioned Jeff Fisher I want you all to think about this next time you give Mr. Adams the credit for the return of VY.

You are 0-4 with games against Indy and New England coming up before the bye week. You have a potentially electrifying QB who you may have reason to believe is lacking confidence sitting on your bench what do you do? Do you throw him to the wolves (two of the best teams in the NFL) with little time to prepare or do you wait until after the bye week to put him in against a beatable team with time to prepare? VY was coming in after the bye unless we had beaten Indy and NE regardless of what Mr. Adams said.

Give Jeff Fisher SOME credit for God's sake, do you really think at this point in his life he is going to be swayed by the musings of an aging, somewhat out of it owner? His job first and foremost is to have his players backs and put them in favorable situations, this is what he did with VY, he put him in a position to succeed and not in a position to fail.

Also look at the Jevon Kearse and Lendale White inactive stuff, he never says a bad word about the players, any reason behind this is between himself and the player, he has always had his players backs and that is why they play for him even at 0-6.

Give the guy the credit he deserves every other coach in the history of the NFL that has ever faced 0-6 did not come out of it like he has....

And for the guy who thinks he is just "a cheerleader" you should listen to Mike Heimerdinger describe how Fisher managed the last play of the game vs. Arizona, he put Heimerdinger in a position to be successful, that is what he does. Mike Tomlin is the only head "cheerleader" that I know of...

The fact is if we wouldve won any of those first six we would still be sitting watching Kerry Collins and for whatever reason they are intentionally tanking lendale during a contract year. Fisher is not a bad coach he is just not a great coach thus the umpteen years at the helm and one losing sb appearance

Exactly what I mean, that is a completely unfair statement.

Tanking Lendale White? Lets see we have the most explosive RB in the history of the game, yeah I cant figure out why he gets all the carries.

who cares? if we end up missing the playoffs then what? while the streak is nice, fact is that we are still just 5-6 and on the outside looking in, this 0-6 start has really lowered expectations.

I do not believe Fisher would have started Vince after the bye week without Bud Adams intervention.

That said, he does deserve some credit. I didn't expect the team to look prepared and focused after the bye, I expected them to be a beaten worn down team. I don't think all the credit for the team being hyped goes to VY starting. Fisher deserves credit for having the team prepared and ready to make a run, and not just throw in the towel.

Still, I hope to see a new head coach on the sidelines next season.

Give Fisher credit for what? I like Fisher or used to but on the outside looking in it looks like Fisher not only wants to be the owner of the team by making all football decisions even at the detriment of the team but don't want to be told what to do. The same thing that got Vince in trouble IMO.

Look when you are 0-6 and your qb has a passing rating in the 60's, throws 5 td and 8 ints it doesn't matter whether it's Vince or Kerry a change needs to be made. The key is 0-6.

Fisher is too stuborn for his own good. First he knows Vince is a playmaker evidenced by some of the 4th quarter comebacks he has had in his short career. Vince didn't help himself with him immaturity by refusing to go back in the game and his willingness or lack of to study the game.

If you think Kerry gives you the best chance to win and you team is 0-6 then im his mind Fisher must think Vince gives the Titans little chance or Fisher would have either made a change or temporarily removed Kerry in games where he wasn't getting it done.

Now the Titans are on a 5 game winning streak and a lot had to come together for this streak to be obtainable. Yes the defense playing better, better qb play and just as important a renewed spark.

It seems like the light bulb has turned on in Vince and lets hope the same has happened with Fisher. The two of them together can bring great things to the Titans.

Yes I said it. Trust me I understand how good chris Johnson is but you've got quite a good sum of money tied up in lendale who is in his contract year and finally shows up in shape after everyone hearing every preseason that he needs to commit to conditioning. If you think cj is your answer and you don't want a two back system that's fine but you could split the load like last year and acually let this guy have some value going into free agency. Instead they sit him knowing that it lowers his value. Also, sure he is on the VY train now but not by choice originally and don't get me going on Harper. Again, he's not a bad coach but he is a lesson in mediocrity. I have watched players come and go in this organization that were really good but wouldve been great in someone else's system (steelers, ravens, colts, etc.)
It's just my opinion but it's not wrong or unfair just because you disagree.

This is going to be our sixth consecutive week of watching a game that really matters, and depending on the outcome we could have 3 or 4 more left that REALLY MATTER, after the 0-6 start I would call the season very, very successful.

a season = a season, not the last 10 games. if you look at the most likely scenario, its the team with the best record in the nfl last year, lost in the first round, then failed to make it back despite keeping most of the team. if we do make the playoffs, how can you credit the dude that told us that KC gave us the best chance to win after 59-0 losses. if we were 5-4 right now, there would be no vince, and wed still have the most vanilla offense in the world.
