Everyone wants to say that it changed when he was on the bench, but those same people continue to ignore the stats. He's been doing this for a long time now. The winning started as soon as he took over the reigns in 06. The good qb rating started the last six games of 07. All along, the stats have been there. People just chose to look the other way. Even the organization. So for anyone who says they were just looking at the reality prior to this year, please, you were looking the other way. The believers have been pointing to numbers for a long time now. We posted them here for all to see. They have been on the rise for a long time. But it's not just the numbers. It's the intanglibles too. Winners want the ball. Today was a good day. And we don't want to alienate anyone. We just want you to believe like we do. Hopefully you saw a glimpse today. You will get more.

I am still not putting all my eggs in Vince's basket, but he earned some respect today.

However, if he hadn't been a retard and cost us that Field Goal at the half we could have won a lot easier.

    Go Titans!

Actually Fisher is the retard for that play just before the half. Just last week an NFL coach took the FG with 8seconds left because nothing good can happen with that amount of time. And the coach expressed that clearly. It's nearly all bad with less than 10 seconds. And little good. And that's exactly what happened. Vince did not help, but vince was trying to make a play by avoiding the sack. And that is what players do. It's the coaches job not to put him in that situation. Sure. You'd like to see him throw it away. But he was put in a difficult position to begin with. I mean what do you do in 8 seconds. about all you can do is throw it away if your lucky enough to have a WR close enough to throw it away too or you take a 5 yard out. If you throw to the end zone you risk losing all 8 seconds too. You would need a timing route against 8 db's. That's a pick 6 waiting to happen. To me, that was on Fisher. It was exciting. But it wasn't smart football to me.

I have nothing against VY, never did.

But more importantly, despite my regard for Vince, I take back all the bull:grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: in the draft and "our team sucks" threads about cleaning house because we couldn't be 19-0. Whatever. All those preconceived notions and warped perceptions of reality that are in my old posts are gone as yesterday. My first and final apology.

I'm behind the team no matter what.

But the Titan's wouldn't even had been in position for that field goal if it weren't for Vince converting the 4th down in spectacular fashion.

    Vince Young Finally!!!

Having grown up in Texas and lived here most of my life when my Titans drafted my longhorns QB I was excited. I had tons of vince young stuff from college, such as autographed items and magazines (I have the same of colt mccoy), but once vince took us to the playoffs I thought he was going to be the same person that took us to the national championship, only we were going to win the superbowl. Well after watching alot of his playing after his knee issues and coming in to relieve Collins I was disappointed, and actually bashed him a few times. Vince for that I'm sorry, you are the man and now your playing in the NFL like you played in college, smart and winning football games through the air and on the ground. You are the man and 387 yards receiving, I did a post a while ago and I think the last time we had a game of over 300 yds passing was back in 2007 (but don't quote me on that) I am so stoked to have Young playing for us again, give him a fat contract and that way we can get to work on our passing defense in the 2010 draft. VINCE YOUNG IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TITANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Understandable but I'm not talking about individual games I'm talking about an entire season, there's a difference.

I'm not seeing any hate, sorry.

I get tired of seeing threads like this. I'd rather the Titans nation rejoice together after such a stunning finish. Why start all this damn 'I told you so' bickering BS. We're not hear to prove other fans wrong or make ppl eat crowe, even though it is occasionally fun, but every week with this crap?

I love Vince, I think he is maturing leaps and bounds, I've supported him from day one, and I hope he remains our starter. Still...that doesn't mean the people who doubted him owe me anything. They had good reason to doubt him. Let Vince worry about his haters, quit trying to fight his battle. I think he could really give a :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: less what ppl think, and he's showing that on the field every week.

That being said....Vince took this game over in the 4th quarter and led us on one of the best drives I've ever seen. It was absolutely stunning.
