VIDEO: VY pass/run attempts 2nd look vs Texans

I came here to post this exact same opinion. That deep throw from Vince was incredible. I never thought we would see him make passes with that kind of accuracy and touch, let alone that deep down the field and under that much pressure. Imagine what a legit deep passing game could do for this offense. Defensive coordinators would lose their minds. It would open up even more space for Vince and CJ to run.

 

I love watching him run

one thing that will only get better, is the blocking and recognition of who he wants you to block when he takes off.

On his scramble where the CB whiffed, CJ/the WR that came back from the sideline to block misread where VY was pointing. He blocked the DL behind VY, if he turns around and blocks the DB, VY is going upfield at full speed with lots of green in front of him. Once little things like that start to fall into place, 10 yd runs turn into 50 yd runs.
