after watching that game even though nfl.com gave it to chris johnson....i really think it goes to vince young because most of time the texans shut down CJ real good and vince kept drives alive with 3rd down runs...Good Job Titans!!

He's the qb and got like 4 huge first downs...gotta be Vince. No brainer.

Probably Vince but could make a case for CJ and Bironas as well.

Sorry guys but I'm going to disagree. Yeah Vince did a good job picking up 3rd downs on the running but CJ ran for 151 yards on 29 carries. He gets the game ball from "This guy" here

Because too many people become fascinated by statistics. VY only threw for 119yrds..theres usually no "wow" factor so he gets overlooked. With the exception of about 2/3 plays CJ was held in check pretty well. VY started off in poor field position basically every drive but he made plays both with his arm and with his feet. He kept several drives alive..that would have otherwise died.

My Game ball goes to Vince Young as well

VY was a difference maker and a leader andpunished Houston for their over coverage on CJ. #10 won his team the game with help from good D and bironas!

My choices for the gameball are:

#1 Chuck Cecil, he made some great calls to force a number of 3 and outs, goal line stands despite having to play Harper over Hood and the Fisher prevent that allowed the Texans the opportunity to kick it into overtime.

#2 CJ 5 100+yd games in a row and excellent blocking gets the nod over Vince. He's not just deserving of a gameball he's a league MVP contender.

Cushing was having a higlight reel game until CJ shrugged him off and blew down the sideline to make him look like a chump. His 22 yard scamper was out of Barry Sanders archives.

#3 Vince Young, his best game yet IMO. Good decisions and accuracy throwing and great decisions with his legs. Didn't beat himself up after a bad fumble. I still have to give the edge to CJ though.

#4 Kenny Britt. Great game by Kenny. His first TD was long overdue and his size and physical play earned us two pass interference calls. They won't show up in the stats but he earned two first downs there just because defenders couldn't handle him. He's going to be a star.

#5 Gerald McRath. He still needs to put some size on to reach his true potential but he plays run and coverage very well. He's a fast and smart player.

On the 14yd pass to Leach Harper had a head start on him and a better angle but McRath showed amazing spped to change direction and beat Harper to the tackle. Harper did no wrong on the play but he made McRath look really fast.

    Vince & CJ .....

    From a dumb old Pirate.

They're a two headed monster. Teams can't scheme one to stop one the other because the other head will kill them. You got yourselve's the dynmaic duo for sure.

On a another note ... you had two former ECU teammates playing against one other last night ..... CJ and Vonta Leach.

Coming from the game I will have to give it to VY if you were there and felt the momentum he sucked out of the crowd with each of his 3rd down conversions. The crowd was loud :grrr::grrr::grrr: hell you couldn't even here every time VY took off it went to just silence. His accuracy with his passing was great he hit Washington in a stride for at least 50 yards. If he continues to improve in the pocket like Steve Young said he will almost unstoppable. You can't play Man defense on him you have to play Zone. What a game.
