Guess I gotta stop lurking and post sometime and this looks as good as any place to start.........

What to say? How about defending your team on that question, for starters! ;)

I know alot of people are "ring or nothing" but this is going to be a good build-up season to see where this team stands, especially with Vince. If he improves his pocket ability while maintaining his synergy with CJ & the option this team's offense has a good future. Upcoming draft will be important depending on what direction/player decisions are made.

And still.....there's still a POSSIBILITY to win out and have a POSSIBLE chance to get in the playoffs :)

    (possible not probable)

This is going to be a slugfest! Can't wait.

Texans are the better team, but VY relished the MNF spotlight and playing in his hometown.

IMO, Mr Monday Night should have done his talking on the field. I expect a continuation of trash talking and fights throughout the game.

If we can force some turnovers then we win, but it will be a close game.

I'd like to see the throwbacks pulled out and the quad bird for a mega fine of epic proportions. VY runs over Mario for Game winning TD. And it would be ESPN's signature game for the next decade. The Bud Bowl.

I'm not 100% certain of your comment in bold. I got to see the Texan vs Frisco game in person (I'm about to go off topic here!) and I'm not sure to this day why so many ppl are jumping down Frisco's throat. Yes they lost vs Texans and Titans and they are falling down quick after a good start but they really aren't THAT bad of a team. IMO Crabtree is going to be a monster once they get him moving the ball after landing from making those catches.
(I currently see this as his main issue)

One thing I noticed from the Tex vs Frisco game was that the Texans hard-core imploded defensively in the late game till a int saved them.

    It was quite hilarious.

I just think Tex doesn't have the staying power.

IF they do beat Tenn. (which I don't think will happen) I will contribute it to the bye week. Alot of teams are having good byes this year; Titans included.

Wouldn't be surprised if it helps the Texans out....but the poor moo cows shouldn't get their hopes up TOO much. :ha:

    Headline:
*Titans owner Bud Adams grows hand out of ears and forehead to give a quintuple salute to the Texans' fans..........epic fine expected.*

Not sure. I see us winning by 10+. Maybe a 34-21 game.

I just like the VY dynamic. Back in his hometown, against the team that "snubbed him" in the draft. And he still has a lot to prove to earn his keep. He still has plenty of reasons to stay motivated. I can't see him screwing this one up for the team.

I expect a good showing by Vince, CJ, Scaife, and Britt on the O.

And I just pray Cecil neutralizes the Schaub/Johnson problem.

    In thinking about it more.

I'm not worried about the Titans offense that much. Bye or not I just don't think the Texans can keep up with CJ. Especially when they gotta keep an eye on both Vince and still worry about WRs that don't seem to be foobing it up as much now.

I'm only concerning about our D vs them cuz' I know that Tex prefers the mid to long pass which we have trouble with at times. Come on guys. Make us proud!

I really want Titans to win this game; too many Tex fans are getting "stuck-up" and need to be reminded of "the facts". :wink2:

Not sure how I forgot to add that I think it will be closer then most of us think. I could easily seeing this be a 3 point game in Titan's favor. Both Ds will have a hard time (theirs with CJ/Vince us with the pass)
