While I have not been pleased with Fisher's defiant and downright immature handling of the VY situation, I still would rather have him than some overrated college coach. Now don't get me wrong, he's doing great things there at Stanford but that's college ball.

Now I still want Fisher gone, but I don't want him replaced by some unproven boy wonder coach of the college ranks.

Shanahan or Holmgren caliber is what I am shooting for.

Why would you trade a 12oz bottle of Bud Light for a 12oz can of Bud Light?
If Shanahan and Holmgren had Chris Chandler, Steve McNair, Billy Volek, Neil O'Donnell, Kerry Collins and Vince Young as QBs they wouldn't have ever won a Super Bowl.
Maybe John Elway and Brett Favre are skewing your ability to grade coaches?

Do not want. But I like that he took on USC because I don't like Pete C either.

True that they had Elway and Favre, but Jeff had Eddie George and Steve McNair and scored us ZERO rings in that time.

Harbaugh is exactly the kind of coach we should be looking at.

He's an ex player with a lot of experience. He's done well cutting his teeth as a college coach.

He was a very well liked player and will have a lot of coaches and ex coaches who'll support him in a move to an NFL HC.
