No room for logic here. Please bow down and kiss Vince's ring, he has the same career winning percentage as Kyle Orton.

There's a difference between "consistently" and "all the time". He's definitely had some misfires since taking over as the starter but overall I think he's been pretty accurate. Just look at his completion percentages from the past 3 games (83, 63, 68). Oh nevermind, I forgot that's because our receivers are suddenly awesome and make up for his inaccurate throws. The same receivers who were dropping balls the first 6 games and making KFC look bad. Stupid receivers. They had it in for Kerry all along.

VY has a higher completion percentage in all of his starts this season, than KC had in any game this season. Put that in your pipe.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY HALF THE TITANS FANS HATE ON VINCE YOUNG? THE GUY JUST WINS. HOW ARE PEOPLE STILL GETTING ON THE BOARDS AND WHINING AND SAYING HE SUCKS. IM NOT A VINCE IS PERFECT GUY BUT HES 3-0 AN WE WERE 0-6 WITH COLLINS throwing picks, AIR FUMBLING, THROWING IT AWAY IMMEDIATELY UNDER PRESSURE. Give Vince a break, honestly people are saying our defense has stepped up. ok they have, BUT VINCE IS THE QB. HES UNDEFEATED THIS YEAR SO PEOPLE NEED TO BE HAPPY ABOUT IT AND GET READY FOR 4-0 AGAINST THE TEXANS AND FISHER LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT AT THE END OF THE YEAR LIKE USUAL WITH US JUST MISSING THE PLAYOFFS BiiiiiiiiYYYYaaaAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWwwwWW(howard dean howl)

This thread really needs to be renamed ... CJ 3-0 since being force fed the ball 25+ times/game

I dont understand how these haters must watch Titans games. Can a self proclaimed VY hater please answer a few questions for me?

    1. When Vince throws a pass do you close your eyes and open them hoping there was a pick or incompletion?

    2. When he goes on a run do you hope someone makes a career ending tackle on him?

    3. When he wins (which is 70+% of the time) are you depressed because it will look good for him?

I dont understand how you can hate your own teams quarterback so much? Yeah he's black, yeah he's not a typical quarterback. But you know what makes me wonder the most. Since your so unwilling to embrace that just maybe he could end up being a good to great quarterback, what will you do once he does reach that status?

    My advice?

Take this season off and wait for Young to get traded. If that doesn't happen go ahead and search for another team to root for because clearly youll be in too much pain to watch the titans have any kind of success with Young under center.

    Also true.

But it all goes hand in hand. How many carries did CJ get when the offense was going three-and-out all day long? Not many.

CJ gets more carries when the offense is able to convert first downs and sustain drives. As we saw earlier in the season, it's hard to get him significant touches when they're punting every fourth play.

It may come as a shock to people, but Vince is actually very good at converting first downs....always has been. In his three starts this year, 40.3% of Vince's passes have been for first downs. Sounds pretty good, right? But wait......let's see how he stacks up against other guys around the league:

    Drew Brees - 39.9%
    Ben Roethlisberger - 39.7%
    Peyton Manning - 39.2%
    Tom Brady - 38.4%
    Brett Favre - 37.9%
    Matt Schaub - 37.4%

    Kerry Collins - 28.4%

And this doesn't even account for Vince's ability to convert first downs with his legs.....no small consideration.

The fact is, Vince's style of play provides a near-perfect complements to CJ. By moving the sticks and keeping drives alive, Vince creates more opportunities for CJ to do what he does. And now that he's getting those additional opportunities, CJ has gone from being very dangerous to downright unstoppable.

I'm not suggesting that Vince deserves all the credit; he's just another piece of the puzzle. And now that that piece has been added, it's helped to pull the other pieces together, and helped make sense of it all.

VY would be 0-3 if the Titans played defense as they did the three weeks previous to him taking over. I doubt Joe Montana could have won those games.
