to be honest stats are lying when its coming to rod hood! yes he does have three picks but two of those were because they were tipped too him. griffin making a nice play and the TO one that went right through TO's hand! To be fair hood hasnt played any really good wr's and his only good pick was agaisnt the jags but that too was due to the ref getting in the jags wr way!

Who's to say Harper would not make those plays if he had been playing? The pressure we've been getting would make most corners look good.

So who is gonna pull a Tonya Harding on Harper so we can keep Hood on the field?

Harper has been a good player for us.

I don't want to judge him on his play before he got injured because the whole scheme was very poor. His strength has never been man coverage though and I would worry about him getting burned frequently in our current style of play.

This has been an achilles heal for Fisher throughout is time as HC. Lamont,McCareins,Nickey,Sirmon all started over better players or were started when they were the glaring weak link.

Hood has been a real spark plug to us.If it isn't broke don't fix it.When has Harper ever had interceptions in 3 consecutive games.

Yeah, pick your poison between Boldin and Fitz. Heck, Breaston is looking good too. I appreciate what Harper has done for the team, but I think he was a major contributor to our very weak secondary at the beginning of the season. Then Hood comes in and has been playing lights out the past few weeks. Even better, Hood covered these guys in practice just last year and is familiar with their system and their WRs' tendencies. Why in the world would you bench this guy? Makes no sense.

I was starting to regain some confidence in Fisher after I lost it in the horrible start to the season, but stuff like this doesn't make it easy. Why change anything when you are winning and playing well?

plus, it seems that Hood has the flexibility to play on both sides of the Defense. We all know Harper is pigeon-holed to the defense's left, which means (OFFENSES ARE RIGHT-HANDED AGAINST THE TITANS).....AJ, anyone really just lines up on the right because they know they have an advantage. At least with Hood we can move him around and keep Finny on the opposing team's #1. JMO

I agree to this 100% we need Finny with their # 1 at all time.

I agree this is a horrible decision but my question is......

Since Harper will be the starter again and Fuller is our hands down nickel back, that means Hood will be moved all the way to #4 on the depth chart? Smh
