You're right...he didn't before the game today though. Kenny Britt actually has more receiving yards then anyone on the team....looking like a pretty good pick

The way I see it our QBs need to do three things to be a sucess
    a. Do not turn over the football
    b. Keep drives alive so our defense can rest and recupe. This allows our D to be able to score as they have been.
    c. get the rock to Johnson!!!!

As longs as Young does these three things then Vince will be a sucess. If Young does these things he will be our franchise QB and we will see glory days!!!

I agree, I'm happy Bud stepped in when he did. If KC had started for our game against the Jags I think we would have won with him. It would have given JF room to argue that it really wasn't KC's fault and while I agree it wasn't really his fault, I do think VY gives the Titans a better chance to win than KC.

Young still has to work on his passing, there were a couple of poorly thrown balls but I'm seeing a lot of improvement each week so I'm impressed. We still have what 7 weeks left? Still a lot of time to find out if Young is the future or not but so far so good.

Check Vince's QB rating when he's asked to throw 48 times. And, see Kerry's when he's asked to only throw 18. Neither are capable of carrying a team. They are minimal parts of a team who must have a dominant defense and run game and when asked to do too much can't deliver, but when kept within their element can at least be somewhat serviceable. Neither will ever win any big games that matter with their current skillset.

Vince Young is a WINNER. He has won at every level! If your saying he needs to win a superbowl within his first 2-3 years of starting in the NFL youre delusional. Eli Manning wasnt exactly amazing his first couple of seasons and look how he turned out. I just wish the haters would at least take a breath from this pipe dream of drafting a rookie that plays like Peyton Manning and wins us a super bowl in their 2nd year and just believe in Vince's potential to get better year in and year out. If he had started this season where might this team be now. We'd be in the playoff hunt... thats what. He IS the future and if you dont like it go root for some other team.

PS: Hi guys, i'm a long time lurker first time poster :wink2:

    This cracks me up.

Find me one example of a team that won a championship based solely on the performance of a single player.

    Here's a hint: It doesn't happen. Ever.

Tom Brady has three rings. But in each of those seasons, the Pats also had a powerful defense that shut down opponents. And whenever that defense struggled and fell apart late in games, the Patriots lost. Where was Tom in those games?

Peyton Manning won a championship a couple years ago....but in the postseason and the Super Bowl itlself, he struggled mightily. It was their defense and their running game that brought them a championship.

Ben Roethlisberger has two rings...but in both of those years, he had one of the most dominant defenses in all of football.

Football is the ultimate team sport, a game in which every member of the team must do his part, or the whole thing goes to pieces.

If you're looking for a player who can singlehandedly dominate games and carry a team with little or no help from his supporting cast.....you might want to consider basketball.

Titans will get a good test against the Texans. No way in hell the Texans lose that game. Their QB is a solid pocket passer, who can scramble to buy more time. What's more their coach could lose his job if they lose to the Titans. The fact that the game is on Monday night will definitely give this game a Playoff like feel.

I predict a 300 yard passing game for Vince and a win. There are a lot of NFL QBs who can't win in the playoffs. I can't wait to see VY win his first next Monday.

Why do people still b:grrr:tch and moan when we win? Week 1-6, you cry because the Defense gets torched for 300+ every week. Now, it's minimized and you're crying because they're scoring as many points as the offense? :gag:

I have a fun fact for those who fit that shoe. Week 1-6, we only scored in the 4th quarter in TWO games....... for 11 points. All on offense.

On our current streak, we've scored in all three 4th quarters for 48 points. 6 points from Bironas FG's, and 3 TD's a piece on both sides of the ball.

Jeez. For a second there, it sounded just like Titans football!

Some of you guys are just pathetic. You don't have to like Vince Young, but just because we don't win pretty, doesn't mean it's something to take from him. We're moving the ball a lot more. We're converting more. And I'm pretty sure that helps the Defense more than our previous ability to specialize in 3 and out's a lot.

Be happy for the guys who suit up and help us win some games or don't cheer for the team at all.
