Remember when???

I wanted Chris Johnson, but I specifically remember saying "I would be happy with Malcolm Kelly" and "Devin Thomas falling to us would be a dream come true"

 

chris johnson just seemed like a reach at 24, that was my only problem. who knows if he woulda been there in the 2nd.

malcom kelly i think was projected as a seond rounder near draft day

and i wanted djax or manningham.... manningham in the 3rd woulda been dominant, but we went with that TE that doesnt ever see the field x.x

 

Remeber when we could have got Jared Allen? Don't remeber who we drafted instead of him, but that was a mistake. We called him but backed away in the last minute. Look how that turned out with him. We could had a great D-Line.

 

I remembered when we all wanted Jay Cutler and we ended up with VY.

 

I'm going to be honest, I hated the CJ pick when it happened. I was driving when the pick came in over the radio, and I yelled curse words that would make Chris Rock blush. Each and every game he's played as a Titan, however, he's proven me wrong with every carry.

 

I do remember that day. I wanted us to take Mendenhall and when Pitt took him I was like WTF???!!!

I can proudly say that CJ totally proved me wrong. He definitely seemed like a reach in the 1st but now looking back, he would've been worth trading up for.

He's been a stud from the word go. What is even greater is that he is getting better and better each and every week. San Francisco was beating him up all day long then BAM!!! he takes off on em. He worked his @ss off for those 2 TDs.

Many say that he's a finesse runner who can only get going on the outside but we have all seen that he can run everywhere. He's the best player that this team has had in a very long time if not ever.

 

I wasn't surprised with the pick. I thought it was a risk, but wasn't upset about it.

It is paying off quick well.

i said every time i trashed him after the draft that i hoped he was successful, just didn't think he would be. i have no problem cheering for the kid now.

at least i was right about limas sweed!
