I think I'm one of the few people that wanted/projected us to pick Chris Johnson..

I wanted us to pick him and was high on the guy even before he ran his 40. After his 40 he looked like he was a legit possible 1st round pick.

Still, in defense of those who were not sure about him I can see why some were questioning the pick. There were questions about what position he would play, RB, WR, slot and he looked more like a 3rd down guy and kick returner. We also had Reggie Bush as an example of a guy seemingly without a true position.

We have to give huge credit to MR and Fisher for this pick. They saw from day one CJ could be a true RB and a play maker. In truth, I almost fell out of my seat when he was picked by us in the 1st. I just expected him to last until the early to mid 2nd round and didn't think we would use a 1st on him and then miss out because he would be picked before our 2nd pick.

    Imagine this team without CJ.

    ;)

On the heels of using a second-round pick at RB the previous year, I thought the pick was crazy. I wanted DeSean Jackson and thought Devin Thomas would have been a steal.

Sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Most people including me said who is Chris Johnson when we selected him. everyone wanted a WR for VY.

Couple season later CJ is a great pick, but we still having WR problems. Britt will be awesome one day but it's not going to be today.

I'm not sure about best in the league, fastest for sure. I'm afraid he's getting too big headed and I doubt we see him in Tennessee after his rookie deal is up. We shall see how good he is when he loses a step in a year or two, then I think we'll see if he's more complete.

I love the guy but I'm enjoying this while I can, we wont have this CJ for long. Either due to slowing down or commanding too much money for Tennessee. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm starting to drink the Kool Aid.

The guy can be flat out impossible to stop. The fastest, hands down. Now I'm starting to put him up there with one of the most "bruising". The guy runs over people at a ridiculous rate for his size.

1,000 yards in 8 games is Jeff Fisher's wet dream. In a way, he's not necessarily the "best" back in the league. But he's by far the most valuable.

He will be flirting with the season and game rushing records one day. Maybe even this year. AP and Eric Dickerson are on notice.

CJ is on the cusp of breaking all the rushing records. If we hadn't been getting blown out the last few weeks he would have had more touches and be over 1000 yards already....

If we continue our run, he can really tear it up.

Peterson's a great player. But, so was Eddie George.

    Same style. Same shelf life.

    I'll take CJ.

Stats don't lie. He almost has 1,000 yards... already.

Leading the league in Yards, Avg Yards per Run (15 Min), Top 10 in Rush TDs, and the Longest Run.
