That is what real men do when they lose something near and dear to them. Instead of working their balls off to get it back they put their head in their hands and cry like a baby and yell "it isn't fair".

    yea, I get it.

Look, this isn't HS where someone "manhandles" some runt kid. This is the NFL and hopefully somewhere in the scheme of things I would think a little hard work and a little pride got mixed in their somewhere. What you are saying about VY isn't in any way complimentary. It proves the point. He wants the opportunity without earning it. That isn't going to happen. If he isn't preparing for these games like he could be the starter or go into the game when KC gets hurt send him home where he can be a legend in his own mind. We don't need him.

Professional football is a billion dollar industry. What do you do?

Could you possibly cry more about Vince Young, baby?

Where is this big assertion from so many that Vince is not preparing for games?

I understand most of you hate the guy because you think he's a retard  and a quitter. Even though I doubt any of you know anyone on the team personally or have any real idea other than what we all can read on forums, in papers, etc.

But I don't get the assumption that Vince is not preparing for games. Seems like more biased crap from the Anti-VY chorus.

Where has anyone said Young is not preparing? He is running the scout team during the week but he's hopefully watching film.

Look, you don't know why your making noise about. They gave away their season to Kerry 'I cant carry a team' Collins who surely doesn't deserve to play for this team. I wasn't complimenting anyone either. The Titans shouldn't go on with this losing season if Vince does or doesn't deserve the chance to start. They need to give it to him and let him roll.

P.S. never said high school was the NFL. Lurn tu reed.

Grrrrrrrrr. Folks...so far we've gone far a field to analyze (in detail) the money and how it affects everyone (which would have to affect everyone on 'our' team except CJ). We've, ad nauseum, dissected what makes other teams great (which is puzzling because the 'chemistry' for those teams is totally different from 'our' team). And, we've explained away how we we'ren't a good team last year (of course that presumes a perfect confluence of all those other teams going bad when they played us and that our players just happen to play outstanding each game up to 10-0, and that each player just seemingly got 'good' during the clutch when we need their particular skill set).

All of the above are NOT, I repeat NOT the causes for this teams desire to self destruct. Why some must persist in pushing their 'agendas' in this matter is beyond understanding.

Let us review the facts. Some of us watched, analyzed and commented, BEFORE the meltdown that this was coming! We didn't use any of the criteria above. Mainly, it was based on loose lips at press conferences, comments from analysts that understand 'football' (ruling out most of the agenda's above), and yes....looking at the Las Vegas Line. (No, I won't give out the website for that one.) But, these guys always had the Titans the 'statistical' favorite (sometimes minus homefield advantage). Now they have really taken a 'bath' here. They don't set their 'predictions' (line) with out good reason. And none of those reasons included factors like money, or poor drafting or all those other factors that are meaningless. What they 'missed' was that information not in the 'statistics'. Things that we here in Nashville could see on the field and pick up on all the local talk shows. Like.....when a guy goes down with a concussion and Fisher doesn't even know it!!!!! Or, like....when watching the game from our seats at LP Field, we notice that Fisher's demeanor is not the same as years past. It's almost lackadasical.

Some have been oblivious of 'those' type of observations. AND THAT IS WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR!

So.....forget the "menusha" (use urban dictionary here) of that other stuff. Schwartz was not the 'wizard' that got him the Lions job. Albert has not helped the Redskins for what they paid for him. Those are the abberations to this discussion.

Fisher did have a excellent team and drafted the Britts and Cooks to improve it. That's a fact jack! We were rated to go all the way. And could have done it.

So this is not about money....and most Titans want to be Titans....and most have good pay structures.....and then the bottom fell out. This 'virus' spread like the 'swine flu' through our team with such speed that we lost key guys, then injuries, then locker room comments about problems, and then benchings, and then suprise roster moves, and then then it appears the team just quit! These are people issues!!!!!!! These are not ABSTRACT! They are not micro details! So the DANCE continues. Is it now a test of wills between two sides? Who will give in so this nightmare can end. Who you gonna call? (I couldn't resist that one either.)

Solutions.....again...... 1 week...That's it. No win, NO JEFF!!!!! (Read the Tennessean front web page today.) Cecil.....LONG GONE!!!!!! Give VY a chance, and if he don't cut it...OUT THE DOOR HE GOES!!!!!! Use what's left of this season as a 'rebuilding' year. Why wait till NEXT year to 'rebuild'. That would be ridiculous!!!!!!! And, to make it interesting...PLAY TO WIN, NOT PLAYING TO NOT LOSE!!!!! When the fans in the stadium can predict our next play AND it's outcome, our coordinators have a problem. When we use the same play over and over and it still doesn't work, we need a new coach. When these happen on both offence and defense, we need a new Head Coach. Facts are Facts. (And these have nothing to do with player salaries, drafting people or motivation (or lack thereof) by single individuals. Don't forget....this has been a team effort!!!!!)

I've said from day 1, I just want VY to win the job outright, not because KFC gets hurt or the season is lost. It only proves one thing when that's the only way he can get the starting QB job; that he isn't good enough to supplant the current starter. That's like saying we should start Gerald McRath at MLB because the team is 0-6. He didn't win the job, its just a change of a player.

Actually I think McRath could do a lot of good playing MLB. And what ever it takes to get Young going again I'm all for. And I don't say that because I'm a Vince Young supporter. I just know he'll be good at some point. The guy is just cut from a different cloth than some other payers that fit your idea of an ideal player. Not you specific Jwill, but people here.

McRath is an OLB, but thanks for really making me think twice when I read your posts:grrhee: We all wanted VY to win the job from the beginning of PreSeason, he hasn't, and the last two weeks in garbage time, he's been GARBAGE and thrown worse passes than KFC.

    Sighhhhh!

Ok, you asked for the truth, but can you take the truth. I don't think you can! You'd rather pick at individual micro items that bear no resemblence to the real problem. (A slight parody of 'A Few Good Men').

Keith Bullucks response to the press about Fishers explanation to the team about 'JerseyGate'.

If you read it closely, you'll see the 'quit' and if you check....you'll see the disgust at the Coach's actions towards the team.

Quote: “He is our head coach. He doesn’t have to explain himself. But he did. If people found it funny, then it’s funny. Of course it didn’t sit well with everyone, but it doesn’t matter what we think. You know what I mean? It is one of those situations where you don’t necessarily comment on. It is what it is and that’s fine.’’

And this is from one of Jeff's most stauchest team member supporters.

    Bud....Oh Bud.....Where are you??????
