  3. No. It was just self-depreciating humor at a charity event.

Fisher is a self-admitted loser...and he has a gut now, the lazy bum...

Looks like he's imitating Peyton when Kenny comes home...

This is officially the funniest thread on any message board I've ever visited. Good job on making complete fools of yourselves. (those of you whining about this)

It was only a jersey. It was only a joke. Stop your whining about something which matters little...if at all.

As has been said many times now: If this sort of thing is all it takes to set you off...reevaluate your life.

Why? I am not offended by anything. In my opinion it is just childish for people to get upset at such minor things. But again, to each their own.

I'm seeing a little national coverage on this.

Mike Golic on ESPN said people should get over it. He did nothing but praise Fisher even after a 59-0 game. He went as far as to say the Titans are lucky to have him and he'd be hired in a second if Adams fired him.

Jim Rome also found nothing wrong with it and also is sending love to Fisher. Rome also feels Fisher is blameless for the 0-6 start.

Anyone hearing any other opinions from the national talking heads?

Hmm, sounds like a few feathers have been ruffled on some of you, so here is the message we want to send to Bud?

We are obviously not happy about the 0-6 start!
We are even unhappier with the 59-0 loss!
We feel Fisher has wronged us and the team by wearing Mannings jersey at a charity even honoring Tony Dungy (Who is a Superbowl winning coach, as a Colt, a proven winner)! (Which may have been the point of his comment)
Therefore, we the fans (short for fannatics) would like for you to fire our coach ASAP, who has driven this team to the pits of he**, even though he guided us to 13-3 last year!
Please find us a coach! (This assume this will be done the same way you have allowed the team to go after so many high profile free agents over the last 10 years!)
We won't accept the following (who will probably be the ones available):
    Zorn
    Chuckie
    Fassel
    Shannahan
or any other coach fired in the last few years.
Essentially, we will only be satisfied with Bill Cowher (The Jaw)
BTW, Do this post haste, another game with Fisher may make for a disasterous season. Doh!

I think my point is, for some reason we suck this year, probaby alot of reason, could any of these other coaches fix it? Maybee, or not. Is it such a terrible sin that he has committed by wearing the Colt's jersey? Probably not. Is any team or fan happy when the team is losing? NO. Just ask the Lions, Raiders, Cardinals (Prior to last year), Browns, Bengals, Dolphins, Redskins, or any other team that has suffered a humiliating season. Do we change the coach after 6 games of stuggle and what I will agree was probably an ill timed joke/means of honoring a HOF bound coach (Who is probably a good friend)?
You guy's are ticked, your ill, and you deserve to be, but.......reflect of the struggles teams with moderate to good teams have gone thru when a rough patch got the coach fired. Do you really want to be in that potential 3-5 year window of sucking?

You're right, and I'm just playing around. Sports are supposed to be entertainment, but you've got to admit it's not been very entertaining as far as the Titans go this season. Unless, of course, it's your team beating the snot out of them lol

The only criticism Dan Patrick had was that Fisher gave a "non-apology apology". Basically, meaning if you are going to tell people to get over it, then dont start out like you are going to apologize. Otherwise, he had no issue with it either.

The season sucks. But getting upset over every little thing, especially off field things, is not going to change anything. That is all Im saying. People cannot expect Fisher to mope around all day, and I almost promise, that Fisher cares about being 0-6 more than anyone on here.
