I hope Bud Adams is smart enough to be talking to some coaches now instead of waiting until the end of the season when some of them may have already committed somewhere else!

 

Seems to me clear as day that the game has past Jeff Fisher by. If he can't get it done with Vince Young then he should be fired today. Its a fact that not all the NFL is the best talent around. Truth be told with a few weeks I could field a team that could be an NFL team, so if I know that's true then I can safely assume not all the smartest football minded people are currently in the league. I could get it done with less than Vince Young and for Fisher not to be able to is sad as sad can get. I appreciate what the man has done for this franchise and most of what he stands for, but hes' finished. He can take nearly all of his current coaching staff with him too.

 

Firstly, calling one of your posts a used tampon, while hilarious, is not really a personal attack. The post=used tampon, not poster=used tampon. See? It's ok!

Secondly, knock Vince all you want, there has never been, since the merger, been a team with -7 passing yards in a game. Also, 0/2 and a pick was still better than Kerry put up.

3rd, I don't believe Michael Vick ever passed for more than 60%, and Vince did it his 2nd year. Considering his 1st year he threw like, 52%, I think we can safely say that Vince has improved at least a little bit, which is more than we can say of the precipitous drop-off in production we've seen from Kerry.

 

Bud is not that smart. He will let every good coach available sign with another team and Bud will sign the leftovers or promote from within.

 

I love VY and I have been a fan of his since texas, but I think this is the most accurate, blunt assessment I've heard of him yet.

Perhaps he can become more than this someday, somewhere, but for now this is where he stands. If he had a sliver of his confidence from his rookie year, it would make this all less painful.

 

Vince needs to play. With 2 weeks to prepare as starter he will beat up on Jacksonville. Finnegan will be back by then and will help our D a whole lot. The way I see it, we can totally win out. We've already faced our toughest opponents in the regular season. 10-6 will get us a Wild Card. Sounds crazy considering we've just been been playing like a bunch of junior high kids but we can do it. We'll get into a rhythm and really get going.

We won 10 straight last season with almost the exact same team. We can do it people. Believe.

 

JF has no faith in VY whatsoever, and if its up to him, VY will not see the field at any point for the rest of the season. However, those who claim that they KNOW VY hasn't improved at all and cant make his reads and accuracy isn't any better..well I'd like to know if you've been spending time around the practice facility watching and taking note of all the things you claim to KNOW and be true... I am not saying youre wrong...but you most certainly shouldn't make baseless claims. You've also got to realize he hasn't played in full since 2007 and has had time to learn this offensive system, which frankly, isn't built in any way for him. The last coach who tried to make this offense to be built around VY was fired because it went against JF's philosophy. Anyyyhowwww it really doesn't matter at this point, Fisher won't play Vince unless Bud steps in, there is a lot more that goes into this story than just "Vince can't play". Fisher's got an issue with Vince. Take note of the fact that there isn't even a single package made for VY. This is a messy situation, so who do you blame? Bud, Jeff? Vince?
