Fire Fisher or Waive VY during the bye week!

Damn guys, the original faces of the Titans are just about all gone. The way the franchise treats players kills me. Fishers just about dried up, Craig Hendrich is basically all gone, the memory of McNair will soon fade and for Kearse and Bulluck the season cant end soon enough. Sad season. I know Bulluck and Kearse weren't on the first team, but they are part of the success through the last decade.

 

After last season I can't blame Fisher for not liking him, but I doubt it is much of an issue.

Vince Young is just a terrible NFL quarterback. People need to face the facts - he's a bust, and he probably lacks the smarts and character to become anything else. He could do better than Collins is doing now, but that's not saying anything meaningful - only 2 players have more interceptions than Collins and his passer rating is 62.0.

Young was the product of a gimmicky college system that let him coast on his athleticism and has produced legions of QB busts over the years. He still can't make reads or go through progressions, his mechanics are execrable, his accuracy is sub-par and his interception rate is terrifying. And none of these things have improved AT ALL since 2006. His mobility is nice but is vastly overrated as an NFL asset.

I realize everybody is desperate for SOMETHING to turn things around, but there is nothing there. :hmm:

 

Bud is not going to fire Fish in mid-season and Bud will not allow VY to get waived without getting some starts.

 

VY had his starts and has played in garbage time against back ups and Fisher won't even let him throw more than three times. I don't think Fisher thinks that Vince is anywhere near starting material.

When Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, and Pike are available next year one has to think this might be Vince's last year in two tone blue.

 

We are 0 and 6 with KFC and cecil, vince young hasn't done anything to contribute to this sh**T. We are now running the most vanilla pathetic defense I have ever seen!

 

Dungy is one of the few coaches I have a lot of respect for and he's been saying put VY out there since like week 3. I really hope Bud pushes Fisher's hand to the point where action is taken. He said he'd like to see Vince out there which is basically telling Fisher to start him, but you never know what was said in their private conversation.

 

Oh no. Dungy said something positive about Vince and his potential. That must mean that Dungy is an overrated retard, yet the Vince naysayers on here like Eddy, Deuche Wayne and GoT are wise beyond their years.

Allow me to fix your 'used tampon' of a post above...
Vince is also the product (now anyway) of a strict, conservative, refuse to cater to a player's strength NFL system that forced him to abide by their system rather than designing plays catered to his strengths and athleticism. The coaching staff's ability to teach him to read defenses, go through his reads and improve his mechanics are excerable. None of these things have improved since 2006 because the FO/staff didn't want to take the time to help him.

 

I seriously love reading people's posts who defend Vince Young.

It's beyond the word hilarious...

Cant wait for him to be gone so his Texas fans can gtfo.
