that pick is looking like it could be a very good one for the pats. Which brings me to a question, Can you protect draft picks like in the nba?

I really think Cook will come along eventually and be a solid pick, but its still too early to say. He does have a lot of upside and could possibly create mismatches for opposing teams. Also that 4.42 speed sure can't be a bad thing. The pick was a bit of a surprise though since we already have Bo and Crumpler on the roster, maybe the front office is thinking about letting Scaife go after the season? Who knows. I'm glad he got some playing time today vs the Colts though.

He looks great on paper and he played really well in the preseason so barring any chronic injuries or retard syndrome I think he's worth it yeah. I just want to see them let him develop.

Now that the season's pretty much over, its time to let the young guys develop and find out what we really have for next year and beyond. A lot of the vets are gonna be going and guys like Cook are gonna have to step in and fill those gaps.

After watching Crumpler kill ANOTHER drive with a stupid fumble I am ready to move him to pasture and get Cook more involved. What the crap do we have to lose....let Cook play, make mistakes and learn the game in a season where there really is nothing on the line.

In perspective after seeing Cook in pre-season I'd say he is worth an early 2nd rounder. I'm sure when the Titans made the deal they didn't anticipate it being an early pick but knowing what we know now if Cook was available in the draft we might take him that high.

Also, it is highly possible Crumpler and Scaife are both gone after this year so getting Cook in and allowing him to get a year under his belt before he is greatly needed is a good thing. Although, I'm not sure we shouldn't consisder siging Scaife if we can get a decent deal. Scaife is still very productive and finds a way to get open.

Well. It depends. If Fisher ever plays the guy? Yes. Definitely.

I got a feeling that Cook,Britt and CJ are gonna be the only 3 bright spots of this season.

Yeah, even though 2 of them barely get to play.

I dont know..I think time will tell on that one. But on paper the guy looks solid. If he is committed to becoming better..continues to study his craft and put in the work he'll definitely be worth it. The one area he needs to work on is his blocking..but I think with him and BS on the field a lot of damage can be done
