The same thing happened to the Eagles after their Super Bowl appearance in 2004. They had a bad draft & didnt do much in free agency stating that "all the pieces wrere in place to duplicate last years success". In 2005 they won 6 games.

The moral to the story: never settle on what you got. always look to improve.

Its apparant the Titans didnt see this coming & now are on the outside looking in. Time to rebuild. Start VY the rest of the year. Its time he gets experience & earns that hefty check. Time to move on....Looking forward to 2010!

Sorry if I repeat anyone but I'm not reading posts right now, too pissed. We Suck! At least the home fans were heard and got to see Vince. I had to get so hammered to watch that game. And it was a shame how un-into the game the coaches looked when Vince took over. Dinger was smiling like he was just putting VY in for sheets and giggles. The man is in there to perform Dinger, act like you like being employed, because you shouldn't be right now. And Cecil, oh my????

As of right now, there are more problems than they know what to do with. Jeff Fisher is ultimately responsible for the team, in good times and in bad. So it falls solely on his shoulders. Start with Fisher and go from there. Like I have said before, I like Fish as a person, but enough is enough. The NFL is now about "What have you done for me lately", and what has he done lately? Took a team from the one of the best in the league last year, to one of the laughing stock of the league this year. I realize that he cannot personally be blamed for dropped passes, fumbles, etc. but again, he is solely responsible for the team, and a change needs to be made.

The fact that his wife left him had crossed my mind in light of all these discussions about him. Funny stuff.

I think that he left his wife for a "man-lovin" bromance with KFC. I could just see Fish and KFC on a camping trip, with them sitting by a crackling fire. They look across the fire at each other and make eye contact (que corny porno music) and Fish starts stroking the "stache". Then KFC whispers "I wish I knew how to quit you".:grrhee:

Someone really needs to photoshop Fish and Collins' face over Jake and Heath's characters' faces in that scene. That would be classic.

I wish Steve was alive. I'd vouch for him to take over as the interim head coach. R.I.P. Mac9 Sorry we blow.
