I dont get Fisher this year

    I noticed last night we had no problem kicking 48 49 yard fg's. Last two games against the texans we didnt do it. We go for it on fourth and 6 or 7 and throw a bomb. Worst call of the night is the 3rd and 1 at mid field and we dont run lendale but throw a terrible bomb and then punt!!!!!!

    This is the worst coaching job of fisher's career.

    That bomb to deep right was probably a good call if we actually had a quarterback that could make a throw outside of 8 yards. You would think Dinger would know by know that Collins can't complete a pass unless the receiver is standing right in front of him without a defender in sight. I think it was gage and i think he had the defender beat, but of course Collins couldn't hit him or it would have been a TD.

    At the time the field goals were probably the right decision because it was so early and we were right in the game so i'm not really arguing with that.

    I am not saying the fg were bad calls at all. We wouldnt kick a 48 yarder at houston last year in a game we lost 13 to 12 because of wind. We had a chance at a 49 yarder in the houston game this year in a 31 31 tie and we didnt try it. At the jets we passed on trying a 47 yarder. But last night we kicked them. I am just confused with his leg I would always kick 50 yarders wind or no wind. The third and 1 call was terrible

    Yea I agree, the call on 3rd and 1 was horrible...White would have got that..he was actually running alright when given the chance...Bo Scaife was catching pretty much everything too.

    Almost any time last year, I'd love that call. When you have a little rhythm going on offense, and feel like you can turn a 3rd and 1 into a huge play I like the idea of taking a shot.

    Last night, though - it's an indication of why we're 0-5. Wrong time for that call. Wrong game. Wrong all around. Clearly we're struggling to get it done in the air. WRs have not been consistent. Collins has not been consistent. What makes them think that such a low-percentage pass with players struggling to get on the same page was a good idea? Tis better to have rushed and lost than never to have rushed at all. I really don't get it.

    This is an idiotic thing to say - but the only scenario that makes any sense in my mind is that Fisher is shooting for the #1 draft pick to replace Young. Nothing else seems to explain their behavior.

    I hope that's not the case, for Fisher's sake.
    If he's doing that then all his comments about Vince being the future of the franchise would make a big liar out of him.
    Now, unlike some people on here, I do have a bit of morals, and do not want to see Fisher at the helm anymore if he can't tell the truth (apart from his normal Fisherspeak).

    EXACTLY....we have 2nd and 21 in our end of the field and THAT'S when they decide to run Lendale up the middle....for a whopping 1yd.

    Then on 3rd and 1 we launch downfield....

    our games are almost becoming comical because of the off the wall playcalling that makes zero sense in the situations. that 3rd and 1 play i just sat there and said to myself youve got to be effing joking. we have one of the best short yardage backs in the league and we're going to let one of the if not the most inaccurate deep thrower in the NFL launch one to our slowest receiver/stonehands Gage
