What will playing Vince do?

IF he comes in and does worse than Collins then at least we know where we stand at the position for next year. For those who still think we have a shot at a championship this season, I applaud your optimism but it ain't gonna happen. There's no reason for Kerry to be under Center for us next season. He's only going to be able to give us his current level of play, or in all likelihood an even worse level of play. Vince on the other hand still has the possibility of developing into a franchise QB.
I can't believe so many people are ready to throw a 3rd overall draft choice down the drain without a second chance.

 

we dont have QB problems, we have defense problems. get defense fixed and collins and the offense will move the chains like last season.

 

It's been mentioned once or twice before that the reason for Vince to be put in is to see if he has indeed improved and if he is indeed worth keeping.

Those statistics don't mean nothing. How can you base Vince's play on B teamers? Sure he played against Indy's B team but he was playing with our B team Offense which sucks big b*lls. Vince WILL do better with our A team offense.

KFC only did good because he was playing with our A team offense. Besides our A team last year ran with CJ and Lendale not Collins thats for sure. Collins was just on cruz control last season, and now the cruz control is off he crashed and burned.

if VY starts any games this season, and he puts up good numbers, I'll gladly eat my words. I want VY to do well. I just don't know why you agree with Vince when he says that KC gives the team the best chance to win?

I never agreed with VY when he made that statement. He is trying not to be a distraction. If VY is supposed to be the "Franchise QB" he needs to be out there getting the experience, because he is not going to progress from the sidelines. I hope he proves everyone wrong, because I have my doubts as well.
