Question about Shwartz/Lions

    since i can barely watch the titans play, (which is all gonna change my uncle with a sick connection hooked up direct tv on slingbox for me!!!!! this is amazing i finally get to watch my team play)

    but as for the lions i got a question to anyone who is watching them play.


    i am interested in jim's defense. does he blitz or mainly rush with 4? i want to know if that if jim's philosophy or was it more of fish's influence on the D? any1 know anything? any1 been watching the lions?

    He wasn't blitzing that much last week against the skins. They mainly tried to stuff the run and force Campbell to make mistakes. I didn't see their first two games.

    On a different not if Detroit ends up this season with a better record then the Titans I wonder who will be the first to say we let the wrong coach go?

    Schwartz was known for his adjustments, so even if he does blitz more, it's probably him just adjusting to his personnel. We really didn't need to blitz last year. What a luxury...

    Being a Lions fan, I'll say... looks like the same ol' style. But after watching Cecil's D lately, I might end up missing that style that I hated so much. Maybe he was right all along.

    Well, our D was one of the best if not the best in the league a couple years. And the only thing that his style did was keep us from showing that in the stats.
    But we were winning. I'd rather be unhappy about his style while the defense is still good than unhappy about Cecil's defense that's nonexistent.
