Great great point. Now that we have all these new weapons on offense I think Dinger is looking to open the playbook more and let Kerry throw it more. Only problem is that more throwing is going to mean more turnovers by Kerry. I'm NOT saying put Vince in. But we need to stick to what got us so far last year. The new weapons are great but need to be used for the right purposes, which IMO are:

Nate: Get the safety out of the box and go deep. Throw deep occasionally to keep the D honest

Cook and Britt: good possession receivers for converting third downs and sprinkling in mid-range passes. Taking coverage away from Gage. Also Britt for run-blocking

Dinger has all these new "toys" but I don't think Collins is a guy you just start having throw 30 times a game. If the defense gets the secondary issues worked out we shouldn't have to score too many more points than last year to win games.

We will need a game plan just for the Jets to win. last year , we couldn't run or pass on them. If we go in there with a normal game plan we will get beat down.

And just like in Preseason and vs the Steelers and Texans the Jets are going to air it out and force our secondary to beat them. It's simple as that. Teams have seen a weakness in our team and all of them will be on it like white on rice.

I rather us give up 100 yards rushing to Leon Washington than to get burned through the air again.

I'm not so much worried about the Jets, the fan in me has us going 14-2 until we lose, but what remains to be seen is a defending the pass or any quickstrike offense. We got torched by the Jets last year and all I really remember Favre doing is inside slants and screens. For whatever reason, our personnel can't stop this and it's Cecil hasn't fixed that hole Schwartz left, yet.

So while I honestly hope we fly under the radar to smack the world in their face again, these guys really need to get it together. It doesn't take a vet to to do the same thing Houston and Pittsburgh did. And they probably will try.

How suspicious are our odds of us seeing a Lombardi in LP next September?

This game worries me more then last weeks. Some Jets fans are thinking of this as a "trap" game. I disagree, the Titans are too good for the game to be considered a trap. Our D is giong to have to be in KC's face all day and hope we don't get burned on the run. The Titans are desperate for a win and they're going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at us. GO JETS

we have the same team that beat the crap out of the Steelers last season. Plus added weapons. ( i used the Steeler game as example cause Haynesworth didnt play that game, so...)

We just have to work as a team again and we should be fine. Funny how people are thinking we suck now. Our Roster is pretty much the same , once we find our stride and the coaching staff gets the right schemes , the NFL better watch out again.

I'd hate the be the team that gets to see our offense and Defense on board together.
