I would give both teams a A rating overall and A+ as far as the defensive battle.
I have seen few of what I would call flawless games and this was certainly not on since mistakes were made on both sides.
It also must be very difficult to go into what has to be an extremely hostile enviroment and play that well. Do Steelers fans "Boo" everything?
In every game there is a certain degree of luck and it didn't balance toward the Titans this time.
A good chance they might play each other again after the first of the year.
Oct 18th the date the Titans play another team on my top list. Top mosts hated that is!

Cecil better have an answer for opposing teams' no-huddle offense. Because if he doesn't by Oct 18th, Brady and co. will make our defense look worse than Ben did.

The problem with this game is that it is the same HEART WRENCHING loss the Titans walked out on last season.

3.5 Quarters that game was played in true Titans fashion....low score, defense, cause turnovers, chess match of field position. And once again, Titans fail to deliver in the end.

Sure it was against the Superbowl champs, in their house...but its still a loss nonetheless. A loss where a made field goal, and a couple passes werent dropped and it would have been 13-10 Tennessee at the end of the 4th.

Absolutely right. Coaching blew this one for us. We owned their offense all night then just got taken by these arseholes. You can't ease off these guys cause they'll make ya pay. And WTF was with the call at the end of regulation? We had 0:50 left on the clock and we just sat on it. That was just plain weak.

Much love for our D-line. Played great all game. Kerry looked horrible and he has been exposed. Come right at him and he goes into panic mode. Our offense looked bad. Same ole lame ole. No excitement whatsoever.

Ringer didn't really do well as return man either. Finnegan has no business returning punts. Bironas missed a gimme and Craig totally killed is with that 28 yard doozy of a punt too. So yeah special teams didn't come through, but in spite of that, we were still in a position to win and we choked.

While it still sucks to lose, we lost to the Champs and we gotta keep that in perspective. They didn't romp us, they didn't beat us up. They won by a FG in OT.

I agree with the comments about the D sending only 4 in the 4th. We blitz all game and it's effective....so why stop?

I can't say enough about our secondary! BigBen had way too much time to study the field at times, yet our guys kept their (extremely talented) recievers covered very, very well!!!

Good to see Chris back in his old form. Also agree they stopped using him too early.

All in all, I love defensive battles like this. I hate dropping this one, but maybe that's a positive....to get it out of the way.

We'll be ok, it's early and we'll see the Steelers again.

Titans outplayed them in many areas but special teams mistakes were huge. Coaching was also a letdown in the 4th quarter with no pressure on the QB.

I feel your pain - great team that made some crucial mistakes.

If we meet the Steelers again, we better have an answer for them.

Problem is we had the answer for them for 3 quarters....One relapse in the secondary on that Holmes TD(If the Zone was a little tighter Ben doesnt throw that ball) and if Fisher gets off this idea of having to use White when CJ actually starts the motor rolling, we win that game.

I honestly feel we hit it big with Britt, aside from his misplay on that INT, he did a phenominal job as a rookie WR.

Plain and simple, Titans have to finish in the 4th....especially on offense. You CAN NOT leave your D out there like that, its games like this I fully understand why Bulluck gets angry.

Sorry...that's what I meant. Our answer for them would be 4 whole quarters of what we gave them 3 quarters of last night.

I'll say this again...that pick was all on Collins. The last time I checked, you aren't supposed to slow down for a deep pass like that (not sure if it was a fly or a skinny post route though). That tells me KC under threw it. If Britt didn't have to slow down for that pass, it would have been 6. And yes, Britt is going to be a beast.

I wish I could high five this statement.

Titans may have lost the game but they beat the 6 point spread which means I won a ton of money last night :)
