played the game in franchise mode on madden, so i'll stick with what happened.

    24 titans - 10 steelers

only play that sticks out in my mind: cj takes a screen 80 yards (k-britt has a sick crack back block) and right before the goal line laterals it back to a steeler...

technically the terrible towel is lendales biatch for now... came into his house, and he blew his nose with it, and stomped on it, and blew out the team that it stands for.

    Load up on the Titans

I predict the final score will be 24-13 Titans over the Steelers.

Let me tell you that I think the Steelers are VERY overrated. Since the day the Titans locked up home field advantage last year, the Titans have not won a game, and the Steelers have not lost a game (not counting preseason, of course). The Titans really handled the Steelers that day. Although the score was close in the third quarter, The Steeler offense was no match for the Titans that day, and the outcome seemed inevitable for most of the game. That was without KVB and Fat Albert.

The next week, the Steelers shut out a disinterested Browns team, and the Colts shut out a disinterested Titans team.

The Steelers got to play a .500 Chargers team in the Divisional Playoffs. The Chargers match up well against the Colts, who cannot stop the Chargers' run game. The Steelers don't have this problem with the Chargers, and it was no contest.

The Titans outplayed the Ravens, but we all know what happened there.

So then the Steelers got to play a beat up Ravens team after Baltimore got worked over by the physical Titans. Teams that played the Titans last year went 3-13 the week after playing the Titans. Several of these teams recorded their worst loss of the year the week after playing the Titans (BAL lost by 28, Chicago lost by 34, etc), and many teams went into multi-week slumps after playing the Titans (NYJ, GB, JAX, etc). In short, the Titans softened up the Ravens and gift-wrapped a Super Bowl trip for the Steelers.

THEN, the Steelers get to play one of the worst SB teams ever in the Cardinals. The Steelers got a freak TD at the end of the first half that was a 10 or 14 point swing. The Cardinals outgained the Steelers by over 100 yards, and the Cardinals committed FOUR personal fouls in a single drive in the third quarter that resulted in a Pittsburgh FG. In all, the Cardinals committed 11 penalties for over 100 yards.

Yes, the Steelers won it all, and you have to respect their championship... but all of this adds up to a tremendously overrated team, at least by the general public. Sure they are capable of putting together a great game and beating the Titans soundly on any given Thursday or Sunday, but chances are, the public thinks the Steelers are a lot better than they really are. This is reflected in the betting lines.

My money is on the Titans. Go Titans!!!
