    You know the only reason we ended up playing you guys in this game is because B'More chickened out.


    Getting punked 3 times last year must have been too much for the Ratbirds head coach.
    He "declined" the invitation.

    Ravens Ask NFL Not to Schedule Prime-Time Game in Pittsburgh
    The road to the AFC North crown goes through Pittsburgh, but the Ravens would prefer to take their chances against the defending Super Bowl champs during daylight hours, at least when they travel to Heinz Field. According to the Baltimore Sun's Jamison Hensley, the Ravens have "asked not to be considered for a prime-time game at Heinz Field this season when they submitted their scheduling requests to the league..."

    oh, spike is right, they begged the nfl scheduling committee NOT to play the Steelers opening night. chickens! so they picked you! so you can thank the rats for you opening up in the toughest place possible this year. returning SUPER BOWL CHAMPS looking for a repeat.

    lol well whats the win/lose stat of a defending SB team game opener the next season?

    Maybe the RatBirds have good reason. the start of our season is going to be some tough games.

    Week 1/ @ Steelers Defending SB champs with a Grudge
    Week 2 / @Home vs Texans Divisional One of the Top Offenses Last Season
    Week 3/ @ Jets First team to beat us last season
    Wee 4/ @ Jags ..Divisional
    Wee5 @ Home vs Manning and the Colts.. Divisional

    I just hope any losses are not to a Divisional team.
