    *facepalm*
You do realize you just proved his point, don't you?
Unless you think the defense isn't part of the TEAM.

Yea I was one of those people. I didn't want us to draft Young but we did so fine. After his rookie year I saw a lot of potential he just had to work on his passing. The next season happens and it seemed like he became an even worse passer. OK well lets see what happens with season 3, the pre season happens and Young looks like an even worse passer. Then comes the Jags game and he looked terrible. And sorry but he quit on the team and yes I will bring it up, he didn't want to go back into the game, that's a fact. He was being booed because 68,000 fellow Titans fans saw what I saw and that's this guy isn't getting any better, he's actually getting worse.

OK so then he gets to watch Collins for the rest of the year and maybe just maybe he will get better having to sit for a year and learn. He comes into the Colts game and stinks it up showing he didn't learn a thing. OK well ANOTHER offseason and a chance to prove himself in pre season. He's looked a bit better this pre season but he's still all over the place. He's making throws that Matt Stafford is making this pre season meaning he's making the same mistakes as a rookie. When exactly is he going to stop making rookie mistakes now that he's been in the league for 4 years? And keep in mind, he's playing poorly against 2nd stringers.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, the closest Young will get to the Hall of Fame is playing at the HOF game.

I watched the game again last night. The Cleveland announcers were really praising the throws Kerry was making. I thought he looked great. Even 2 of the incompletions he had were well thrown balls that hit Gage in the chest/gut area.

I truly believe he has become a better passer, He has had one game were he looked horrible against Dallas but so did all three QB's. Yes he has had 3 picks this preseason(one of which was batted at the line by a unblocked defender, not his fault and one was a possible blown route???)the interception against the Brown was just horrible I will give you that but if you can't tell that he as improved then I believe you just have your mind made up that he is a bust.Quitting on a team is a huge deal, I was just stating that there has been plenty of players that had gone through that kind of deal and have turned out to be pretty decent players. Kerry Collins was reported for not wanting to go back in a game at one point. You bring up the Indy game as proof that Vince hasn't improved is just nuts to me. You take a guy who hadn't p[layed all year to come in and light it up for that game, probably isn't going to happen considering he really didn't have C J on the field with him.( who made the offense click last yr)

He's on my bench, of course ... all's I did was cut Nate Burleson. I'm already deep at WR & basically picked up Ringer as a hopefully usefull (surprise) bench player.

All is well. Thanks for the concern.

Point granted. He messed up. But you've got to admit he did a lot of good things too.

To where? He was inside the pocket, and had a man in his face as soon as he faked the handoff. If he throws it into the ground, its a safety due to intentional grounding. As far as I can remember, there were no eligible receivers near him.

  8. Sure, as I've said, he threw the ball pretty well for the most part. And he had 1 great run. But he didn't do enough good to outweigh giving away 10 or 14 points.

First of all, he could have simply overthrown Mulligan instead of throwing it right to the defender in front of him. Secondly, I have it on good authority that VY is supposed to be mobile.

The fact is, he made a terrible decision. He should have seen the defender right there and either tucked the ball and run or thrown it where no one could catch it. None of those choices could have possibly been worse than what he did.

Well 3 picks are still 3 picks. And lets not forget that fumble on the goal line. Fact is he's still turning over the ball. He might be a better passer but still not good enough to start and against 2nd stringers he's only average.

OK but Collins never quit on this team. I don't care what he did elsewhere.

Yea, that's what a backup QB is supposed to do. Besides it's not like Young didn't know he wasn't going to play. The #3 overall pick, the supposed franchise QB has to be SO much better than he is now. If it hasn't happened now, it's not going to.

Didn't his first drive go against the browns starter? And i think he had some starters in also. Im seriously asking because it seemed like a pretty good drive against a starting D.

Here where we have a problem. Im not saying you should not like kerry because he didn't want to go into a game. But your saying sure kerry quit on his team like Vince(supposedly) did,but it's ok because it wasn't our team. I think if a guy quits on his team, then he loses cool point, no matter what team it was. So if your comfortable bringing in a player known for being a locker room distraction because he hasn't done it on this team? In that case, we should bring some loser like ryan leaf to this team because he hasn't done wrong for us yet. Please re-explain that because i am uncomfortable with your statement.

Your right he was supposed to be ready to play against the colts but wasnt. But looking ahead he has shown improvement and if your gonna say well the guy sucked this game so he's gonna get worse, then you have to be fair and say the guy played well tonight and he may be turning it around. Your argument is unfair clearly.
