What I have noticed, and you can go back and look at the thread titles from the past few weeks, is that the majority of Vince young threads are started by Huggers like Gut, the sure thing, earlers, xxtitansrgreatxx, etc....and there is usually some boast or ridiculous claim about Vince, along with a large dose of blame cast about in the direction of Vince's teammates and coaching staff that explain away some of his short comings.

The Huggers instigate most of the VY bashing with the threads they start, including this one.

And you haters, just like insects compelled to fly into the bugwhacker, feel the need to respond?

Instigate? If the haters wouldn't respond, it wouldn't be called instigating. It would merely be a VY hugger up on his soap box.
So if a hugger starts a VY thread, do you think the haters are doing themselves any favor whatsoever by responding? Huh?
If you get suckered by a forum troll, you are no better than they are.
Haters....no one is putting a :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr:in gun to your head and forcing you to respond in a negative manner. You're only fueling the fire and playing into their hands when you do respond.

It's called a debate. Do you really expect the Haters to stand mute while the Hugger agenda is promoted, often in a biased and disrespectful manner towards the rest of Vince's teammates?

Where does reality end and hating begin?

If you say Kerry is not a good runner does that make you a hater?

If you say Vince is not a good passer does that make you a hater?

No. Even I'll say that Vince isn't the best of passers, but on the flipside, I'll also say that I believe that he can improve his passing as well. And no, Kerry isn't known for his running, but that doesn't make him a bad QB.
Wording of statements and arguments is what makes one a hater or hugger.

If one is constantly saying 'Vince sucks. Start Ramsey' or 'Vince is gone after this season', just more or less bashing with no construction or overly speculating makes one a hater IMO. Likewise the opposite for huggers...basically making statments that just 'blow sunshine up someone's posterior'.
Haters/huggers only make statements that suit their agenda. Realists will make constructive criticism, but at the same time can also see the positive points as well.

See my statement just above this one.
When constructive criticism is no longer part of a 'debate' as you call it, then it becomes an argument. If you need further explanation on this, I'll be happy to provide an example of a debate, then an argument.

I'd like to see an example of some of these exaggerated "hugger" posts. I don't see near the exaggeration from those that are fans of VY.

I do see ridiculous statements from the hater side, for example, the conspiracy that Hawkins was forced to admit to running an incorrect route when he didn't. That's haterish.

I'm sorry, what exactly have i posted to be labeled hugger other than what Vince needs to do to succeed? And the last VY thread i started was about him being more mature based off a recent interview. ou may wan't to check previous threads/post before labeling.

I understand but is saying "not one of the best passers" the same as saying not a good passer?

I think if you asked many coaches in the NFL if Kerry was a good runner they would say no. I also think if you asked many coaches in the NFL if Vince was a good passer they would say no. That is just how I view things. Your view may be different. :)

It is the same. But it doesn't matter. I also added to the end of that statement...but I feel that he does have the talent and ability to improve his passing. Which means I can find the positive in statements like that.
Likewise I can say that, as much as I'm pulling for Vince to succeed, Collins should still remain the starter for now.
And you're saying, 'if you ASKED many coaches'. No one is asking any of the haters their opinions. Haters are just offering them up unsolicited.

You're right, I shouldn't have labeled you a hugger from the Vince thread that you started.
