Because it was Young's first game after all the praise he received through camp. That ball gets intercepted no matter what route Hawkins runs. It was an ugly pass that should have just been thrown away.

I wonder who Steve McNair would have given more credibility to, or Randall Godfrey.

Can't say I can read a lot of things a defense is going to do, but I've seen QB's that could. Vince isn't one of them.

So who forced Hawkins to make himself look worse? For a guy that's not a lock to make this team, I do not think he'd go out of his way to point out his game mistakes.

I concur. Gut is one of my favorite posters on this message board and I enjoy reading his threads. But some are going to exaggerate and bash Young regardless of fact or performance.

 

When people are so filled with disdain of everything VY do, they will magnify anything that can be considered and bad play just to justify their position.

It better not to bother trying to tell them good things about VY their will spin it to fit their point of view. If he does anything good is really not his doing, it's some outside forces were involved, but if is anything bad is all his fault you just can't win with this people so speak your mind and don't worry about it.

It was great to hear Kuharsky on the Zone this morning finally admit that he has disdain (his words) for VY. I already knew he did and it was clear he was unbiased, but up until now he would not admit it. He always tries to appear on the show as if he is "objective" and "unbiased" and just goes by the facts, which a reporter is SUPPOSED to be. Although technically he is a blogger and not a reporter, so maybe those rules don't apply to him. I'm actually very surprised he made that admission and he may regret it later.

 

No, but if you don't realize the hater p.o.v. is much more prominent on here than the hugger p.o.v., you are blind.

 

What did he say exactly? Why do you feel so many people hold VY in "disdain"?
