Don't know what world you're living in, but the VAST majority of the human population cannot bench 400 lbs. Most people probably couldn't bench their own weight, let alone 400 lbs.
And yes it is impressive considering that Paul Sr. (from American Chopper) benches 400 lbs, and he's almost twice Ringer's size.
Ringer does not look like he can bench press 400 lbs.

Umm big fat people who complain 23 hrs a day and make motorcycles don't always equal strong people who complain 23 hrs a day and make motorcycles. There are kickers benching 400 lbs after church in April so a RB benching that just doesn't come off to me as 'wow'. My high school football team had several people close to 300 on the bench and we had a few squatting 600+ before they were 18 years old, and our team was not that good. The better teams in our conference had plenty of players doing the same. I mean yea its good to be up there pushing 8 plates, but not mind blowing or anything worth getting excited about. If he was a basketball player doing that then impressive, but he's an NFL RB. Also considering only 1 in every 200,000 people get a shot at the NFL I wouldn't expect those other 199,999 people to need to bench 400 lbs. So yea your right the vast majority cant do nothing close but if these NFL players were normal people they wouldn't be in the league.

Well then I don't know what to tell you, other than I've never taken more than a protein drink called Isopure. Which is apple juice with protein. Why do people always think unusually strong people are on something. Jealousy is probably whats behind it. I'm sure its easy to doubt that when your only friends play world of war craft and eat pizza bagels. (not that that's you) I mean I don't care whether people care or not, but I'm just saying... Ringer benching 400 doesn't mean crap. if he's a good back which he seems to be then he could bench 180 lbs and it wouldn't matter.

Trust me, you don't have to worry about the Lendale mentality rubbing off on him. He is just a flat out character guy, always working, always a team first attitude.

After a big game last year, he brought the offensive line to the press conference and gave them credit for his game....And the offensive line sucked. He made the plays all by himself.
